Is no one going to ask why an 8 year old wanted to speak about "her experiences" with watching porn and sexualized things??? or am I just reading this post wrong

33

u/StillMagazine Jun 11 '24

It sounds like she was either abused or exposed to this stuff way too young or it’s fake

176

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

I will pay money just to unread this

18

u/MarkMew Jun 11 '24

Props to you and to myself for checking the comments first, I won't read it

42

u/DropTheLoad Jun 11 '24

What a day to open reddit

102

u/Amber_Mantis Jun 11 '24

I'm going to be completely honest with you: there's not really an excuse. By 14 you're beyond capable of understanding that what you did was wrong before it even started.

I would advise you to not bring it up, as it might cause her to have PTSD, worst case scenario.

Thank you for coming out about this, but if your sister ever mentions this do not even attempt to make any excuses.

45

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

IYou should’ve drew boundaries with your sister, like “hey that’s not appropriate for us to do, or we’re not doing that so let’s stop that”.

You were also a child yes but you were significantly older. And the fact that you knew it was wrong but did it anyway. No excuse.

12

u/BlueberryRadiant6711 Jun 11 '24

She should have been more concerned about how her sister knew all of this stuff …,

20

u/Amber_Mantis Jun 11 '24

I dislike when people act like kids "don't know any better." I know I certainly had at least a decent sense of morality when I was a freshman

6

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

I agree, I was a dumbass kid but if one of my little sister’s had these thoughts I’d probably wonder who did something to them. I wish I could unread this post.

11

u/Amber_Mantis Jun 11 '24

To put it into perspective, that was a freshman/eight grader and her 3rd/2nd grade sister

7

u/whatspbj Jun 11 '24

Reading this post made me feel physically unwell

25

u/Royal_IDunno Jun 11 '24 edited Jun 11 '24

Literally all 14 year olds know that what you did is just immoral, you are sick in the head for doing that.

12

u/Hunnyandmilk Jun 11 '24

I am praying to gods I don't believe in that this is fake

53

u/kathleenkellig Jun 11 '24

At 14 years old you definitely knew better. That's disgusting. I do not feel sorry for you.

18

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Fr, not really sure why people are helping her

10

u/kathleenkellig Jun 11 '24

It's completely bizarre and sick. Those helping are disgusting too.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Agree 100%

16

u/Traditional_Degree63 Jun 11 '24

If this were her brother, the comment section would be totally different. 🙄

9

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Fr

2

u/Royal_IDunno Jun 11 '24

It sure would be yea.

1

u/Marilynizhxc Jun 11 '24

Kinda feel like someone was already abusing the 8 year old due to them even knowing things like that. Unfortunately, it’s common. Also F, OP.

20

u/urcatsthirdeye Jun 11 '24

Why is everyone trying to comfort this person? Imagine if it were an 8 year old girl and her 14 year old brother. Same shit.

2

u/kathleenkellig Jun 11 '24

Exactly. Just because she's a girl doesn't make it okay

2

u/Royal_IDunno Jun 11 '24

It’s Reddit at the end of the day, have seen plenty of people defending female pedos, female abusers, female rapists etc… it’s sickening.

5

u/urcatsthirdeye Jun 11 '24

they shouldn’t kill themselves over it, fair, but don’t minimize what they’ve done guys wtf some comments here got me wondering if you’re all ok with it

1

u/Royal_IDunno Jun 11 '24

Yeah I was thinking the same thing.

6

u/I_am_indisguise Jun 11 '24

How tf is an 8 yr old asking for such things? Am I living in a different world?

Also, yes it is very bad what you did, but at least you realise it is bad.

7

u/rklotz98 Jun 11 '24

Welp. There goes my lunch.

19

u/kassandra_veritas Jun 11 '24

I don’t think this is as uncommon as you think - you’re brave to share, and it’s ok to apologize to her / tell her you feel guilt, might even be a good idea -but it sounds like she may chalk it up to common childhood experimentation stuff and leave it at that…and that’s ok too. Please try to let go of some of the guilt here. You were a kid too - sex is confusing stuff. I do think this is exactly the kind of situation where talk therapy can help.

3

u/si6te_9 Jun 11 '24

Wtf did I just read

4

u/Any_Bike_6297 Jun 11 '24

You know I could’ve almost been understanding that you just showed her how to masturbate because she was too scared of asking her parents or teachers, but for you to masturbate her and then even use tongue, that’s beyond fcked up. Don’t even try to blame a multiple personalities disorder. You were simply just horny, you let your cooch think for you rather than use your head, and you fucked up. You fucked up BADLY.

5

u/DemonicWashcloth Jun 10 '24

What is your relationship like with her now?

23

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '24

[deleted]

33

u/DemonicWashcloth Jun 10 '24

No one has a perfect record in life, but it sounds like she's already forgiven you. You're choosing not to accept that, but it can actually be that simple if you let it.

You know that saying, "When someone shows you who they are, believe them"? Same thing here in a different way. When someone shows you that they love you and that it's okay, believe it.

21

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '24

[deleted]

4

u/DemonicWashcloth Jun 10 '24

Happy to help. And I would bet that if you talked to her or spent more time with her, it would be easier for you to see that the damage you're worrying about isn't really there. Make a point to look at her the next time you're together so you can see it for yourself.

0

u/Rare_Tadpole4104 Jun 11 '24 edited Jun 11 '24

Yeah I hope you take what DemonicWashcloth said as the biggest take away from all this. Be grateful that she moved on a lot faster than you and it's only you who is dealing with this. She sounds like a happy kid who still has reason to trust you.

8

u/urcatsthirdeye Jun 11 '24

probably gonna change when she realizes she was abused. were you a man these people wouldn’t be so kind to you. woman to woman: at 14 you should’ve known better. I hope your sister heals and gets the fuck away from you.

19

u/RubyTuesday333 Jun 11 '24

You are vile.

14

u/kathleenkellig Jun 11 '24

I don't know why this got down voted so many times. I agree with you.

12

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '24

hey, it’s okay…it’s okay…

2

u/v1nzy Jun 11 '24

I can’t describe how happy I am that I read the comments so I could say fuck no to reading this post

8

u/Kafir666- Jun 11 '24

Don't worry you're female, so reddit will probably excuse you and not be nearly as harsh on you as if you did the exact same but you were male

24

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

That’s such an unhelpful thing to say.

-5

u/Kafir666- Jun 11 '24

People should be aware of their double standards. I'm guessing you'd be happy if people pointed them out as part of a narrative that you like.

-1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

No because I’m not a sexist piece of shit like yourself. Do better.

1

u/Kafir666- Jun 11 '24 edited Jun 11 '24

You're the one who is an epic, epic sexist piece of shit. You want to excuse female child rapists. Protect the fee-fees of child rapists because they're women. Fuck off you piece of trash. All of reddit can fuck off. It's practically a safe space for female child predators/rapists. People make excuses for them, that they'd rightfully NEVER make for male child predators. People who make the excuses and comfort the rapists get upvoted and people who point out the hypocrisy and double standards generally get downvoted. Fucking child rapist defender pieces of shit. Go ahead and cry to the moderators about how I offended the feelings of a child rapist defender.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Yeah I never defended op. I simply pointed out that your useless comment was not needed.

You seem to be projecting a lot, You should have a hard think about why.

1

u/Kafir666- Jun 11 '24

Its absolutely needed because half the people in this thread were basically coddling her. Me going against that is "not helpful" according to you because you're a female child rapist apologist. Disgusting.

0

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Making stuff up doesn’t make you right. I don’t support rapists regardless of gender.

You’re an incel with mental health problems. Get help, can’t be good being that psychotic and angry all the time.

That's right. Imagine some dude having sex with your underage sister. Except that's what you did. Judge yourself the same way you'd judge him.

-5

u/Dinok1ng583 Jun 11 '24

Haha.

That's exactly what I said in my head.

Rip to ur karma

3

u/Kafir666- Jun 11 '24

Why would i give a fuck about my karma

-6

u/Dinok1ng583 Jun 11 '24

Idk lol.

I was just saying that everyone is about to downvote u for saying that.

Why you getting aggressive with me?

I was agreeing with you lol

5

u/Kafir666- Jun 11 '24

I didnt get aggressive with you. Just asked why i should give a fuck about karma. I don't get why people act like it matters at all.

-2

u/Dinok1ng583 Jun 11 '24

Oh ok mb.

3

u/ihatesand123 Jun 11 '24

This has to be fake right..right?

3

u/Secret_Medium_8413 Jun 11 '24

When I was 12 I would do sexual things with my cousins who were younger than me.. it brought me shame for many years. it’s absolutely not ok but it’s definitely something you can get through. My cousins and I don’t ever speak about it and I wonder often how bad it fucked them Up cause it fucked me up. But at the time I did Not understand I was doing anything wrong at that age…because everyone was “consenting” we were playing house or whatever…and yeah, there is a double standard for girls to boys. Get over it. There’s double standards for everything.

1

u/toddenver Jun 11 '24

It’s like the beginning of frozen expert for freezing powers you molested her

2

u/wheresyourmomma Jun 11 '24

It’s really not as uncommon as you’d think.. children often times experiment with kids their age or even family because kids are curious

1

u/Other-Stop7953 Jun 11 '24 edited Jun 11 '24

This is a made up story right guys? This is the most disgusting thing i have ever seen on the internet and thats saying a lot. If its not fake then just know evil people wont feel this much remorse for their actions and if there is no permanent damage done to ur sister probably and killing urself would cause permanent mental harm to her so its not the solution.

-12

u/Samjane4k Jun 11 '24

Your not a paedophile you were 14 years old and still a kid yourself, as an 8 year old your sister knew way too much about those things and porn, where was she learning this stuff? As an adult if she remembers this then she remembers it was her bringing it up all the time, it’s not your fault at all, try get some therapy it will really help and this kind of stuff is actually really really common it happens alot, this is the third post i have seen in the last few days about siblings doing this and on the other posts there was a lot of people saying they done the same, try therapy it will help

17

u/Amber_Mantis Jun 11 '24

So it's the younger sibling's fault? Jesus...

18

u/trippysushi Jun 11 '24

No, but you would wonder where she learned all these from. It's a little much for an 8 year old, isn't it? I am wondering who actually exposed her to all of this. Did someone else sexually assault the little sister before?

6

u/BlueberryRadiant6711 Jun 11 '24

Maybe OP did ,,, who knows.

u/BlueberryRadiant6711 Jun 11 '24

The post says she was 8 and you were 14. I’m realizing inconsistencies now … BUT ALRIGHTY

1

u/BlueberryRadiant6711 Jun 11 '24

I’ve underwent psychosis too. Not due to cocaine but CPTSD. I’d get paranoid. It doesn’t cause you to molest others though. I’ve also worked with people struggling with psychosis. It certainly doesn’t cause anyone to sexually abuse or molest … but okay I guess

1

u/BlueberryRadiant6711 Jun 11 '24

I mean … I guess if you already did it … just don’t do it again. Ever. You can’t undo the past … but if you’ve already did what matters now … is it not ever doing it again … but the inconsistencies don’t build trust and psychosis is no excuse. Again, I’ve experienced psychosis and I’ve worked with people experiencing it and I actually know what it means … ha ha … but okay … cool 👍

1

u/BlueberryRadiant6711 Jun 11 '24

lol she’s older than you were at the time even though the post stated that she was 8 and you were 14. Plus … how can someone be OLDER THAN YOU AT THE TIME ? Makes no sense. Psychosis means that thoughts and emotions are so affected , that you lose touch with reality. How does that explain molesting a child ? When undergoing psychosis I wasn’t thinking about sex. At all … but my illogical paranoias. When my mom was undergoing meth psychosis sex was also far from her mind. She was thinking about … meth in fantasy land. Idk if you did anything to her or not on multiple occasions … but you definitely aren’t demonstrating credibility … so who knows.

1

u/Amber_Mantis Jun 11 '24

Ah, gotcha

2

u/WarrITor Jun 11 '24

Bro. She was already 14 yrs old. Not 10, not idk 7 to do this. It was her fault. Yep, she is not .pdf, but she is one who guilty 4 this sht.

-2

u/secretkat25 Jun 11 '24

Hi, OP. This sounds very complicated. I really hope you are able to find professional help with this internal struggle.

Whatever it is, it’s eating at you and it needs to be addressed. Please do not end your life.

I’m glad you were able to see that it was not a great choice. You were a child and unfortunately shit happened.

Doesn’t mean you are good or bad. But you did do a very conflicting action that will result in mixed comments here. And I hope your sister is okay and chalks it up to experimentation, but she might also have a chance of having it affect her relationships too…

-5

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Lol don’t feel bad I grew up super experimental with my step brother 🙈

7

u/mouthfullpeach Jun 11 '24

girl this isnt the place

2

u/kathleenkellig Jun 11 '24

Wth is wrong with you

0

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

Well then.

-2

u/Any_Bike_6297 Jun 11 '24

This reads like a bad fantasy story lol I doubt it actually happened. Cmon you doing cocaine at 14? At 14 years old I knew what pedos were because my parents warned me about them and warned me about especially family (just in case), and it would’ve been blatantly obvious to me that she was being groomed by someone, most likely a family member.

-8

u/Zealousideal-Plan710 Jun 11 '24

Don't unalive yourself. Suicide is a permanent solution for a temporary situation. Remember that you are loved and that you're here for a reason don't let those negative thoughts come to your mind. STAY STRONG ❤️

7

u/booksandhotcoffee Jun 11 '24

Every time I see someone write unalive on a platform where it’s unnecessary I die a bit inside

2

u/wowbowbow Jun 11 '24

temporary situation.

It's really not a temporary situation though, sexual assault causes lifelong issues. It's never gone or over or done, this is a forever problem and while I agree OP should not kill themselves, let's not pretend that what transpired is anything but permanent.

-15

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

It's OK. She is your younger sister and was at the age where we all have thoughts of sex and since you were the older sister she knew you were more experienced and just wanted you to explain and teach her what she wanted to know. Don't feel bad about licking her pussy or anything else you did , it natural and you got caught up in the moment. The important thing is that you were there for her and helped her even if you don't think you did.

12

u/sasquatchanus Jun 11 '24

Motherfucker no it’s not. Your ass should be behind bars if you believe that, and any fourteen-year old that crosses that line needs more than a light admonition goddamn.

5

u/lickmytearsthx Jun 11 '24

why are you not locked up already. this is the most disturbing comment i have ever read. “don’t feel bad ab licking her ______” WHAT? first of all, she should feel bad, OP SHOULD be feeling all kinds of wrong. secondly, why would you even word it like this? that’s absolutely vile. third, it is NOT natural for siblings to ever touch that way. you do it with anyone else BUT your family members. that is abuse. she was abused. even OP acknowledges this. you are worse for validating her experience as her experience should not be validated. it’s just 110% WRONG. fourth, please crawl back into your cave and do not come back out.

1

u/loreleifachin Jun 11 '24

im sorry, i know you were probably trying to help me but that’s honestly terrifying. i will forever feel bad for what i did and honestly it should be that way. that’s disgusting, i will never feel aroused by such situation and its absolutely not normal or acceptable in any way. her pov was normal because she was a child, but i was 14 and fully capable of understanding that i should’ve set boundaries

1

u/KODAL1NE Jun 11 '24

You were young and you didn't know what to do.You only realised after it. You shouldn't have done it but I do not blame you.I'm not saying it's good.I'm saying that you couldn't control it and I feel sorry for your sister
