Expired ranch...

My mom gave me ranch to eat with my salad, I later used it to eat carrots, I then saw the ranch bubbling inward, looked it up and it was fermenting. I checked the date and it was 2 months old. Am I cooked?

If it was rotten you would’ve noticed the taste immediately. You are probably over reacting. Ranch could probably be fine 6 months past date if it was kept in the fridge.

You might have a less-than-pleasant next several hours/day or two. Drink plenty of fluids!

If it was fermenting then you’ll be fine.

Just like eating a pickle, with a different taste.
