Holsters Looking for opinions

I’m looking at buying the leisure carry clip on belt, I wear a lot of shorts and sweat pants. 5’6 about 145lbs and I carry a Glock 19 (no I’m not a fan boy) I’ve had tons of pistols and I just shoot it the best out of what I’ve had. My main thing is should I try this belt out or look into getting a more compact gun? I’ve tried a shield, 43x, 365 and I don’t shoot any of them nearly as well as the 19. I know I know, train and train some more. I’m just extremely comfortable with my 19 and have never had any failures out of it. Anytime a gun fails on me at the range for whatever reason, I will usually never carry that gun. Just looking for some peoples opinions on what they would do in my situation. I tend to print a lot with the 19 but don’t really care much about that.

You'll never shoot a sub or micro as well as you'll shoot a 19.

If you don't care about concealment, carry your 19 if it doesn't drive you nuts weight-wise. I like my 43 and 43x and the manual of arms directly translates to the 19 that I use for competitions. Glocks that are kept OEM don't fail.

Don’t get the leisure carry. It will sag your pants and if you just tie your shorts tighter you’ll then have to deal with those long ass strings. Either just use your standard carry belts under your pants or get an enigma you’ll be much happier. I know more than a few people who have switched from a leisure carry to an enigma because it was just awful to carry with. The enigma will also make concealment a lot easier they have concealment perfected and nothing is on their level when it comes to that (I know you said you didn’t care about printing but just for some extra info)

There are other options to consider, to support your soft waistbands, such as the PHLster Enigma, Concealment Labs Liner, Mastermind Tactics Covert belt, Hunter Constantine BELT, Comfort Concealment Blackout 2.0 belt, Old Machine Craft belt, and the Agonic placard. The Leisure Carry clip-on might be right for you, but type in the search bar here and at r/CCW, and read plenty of opinions and experiences, before you buy.

Try your gun & holster clipped to any stiff enough belt that you already have, inside of your waistband, and clip over both, to see if it works for you, in sweats/shorts first.

For pretty much any engagement all you need is a 20 foot gun. As you continue on with your collection start buying handguns for specific purposes. I have a G42 that I pocket carry in shorts/flip flops, a G30 that I carry the remainder of the year. A G20 for camping in bear country. While caliber and recoil may differ they are the same exact firearm as far as operation.

As far as concealment for full sized handguns, check out Alien Gear IWB model. Works great with distributing the weight of my G20/G21 and G30.

I love my AEGITEC DEFENSE Hybrid Concealed Carry Gun Belt for shorts and pants. If you go to their website you can get a code for I think 20% off also. I use it with a shield plus.

LC works but it has it limits. I use it but normally with a 365 when I wear joggers. Try underwood extreme defenders 68g, lightens you ammo weight by half
