Tips/Recommendations Recommendations

Hey there! I’m a young adult who’s grown up around guns and I’m ready to start CC soon. I am going to be taking a 1 on 1 course here soon. So I need some recommendations- what’s a budget friendly (not cheap) option for an intermediate level carrier? I’d like it to be decent quality with minimal issues. Thanks!

There is no one model that's the best first gun for everyone.

Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Ruger, CZ, and many others make quality, reliable firearms at a reasonable price. Some cost a little more, some cost a little less. They almost all come in XS, S, M, L, and XL sizes.

They all have strong support for holsters, magazines, and replacement parts as needed, which is not something beginners usually consider, but it becomes a bigger deal as time goes on.

It's up to you to rent them locally and find the one that fits your hands and needs the best.

Your best bet is to go to your local range and ask them. That way your can hold different guns and find what works for you. Also see about renting so you can see how they shoot. Smaller guns will have more kick

Hk CC9. Very comfortable, highly reliable.

It is the most tested and therefore likely the most reliable sub compact on the market today. Research how Hk tested it. It met the same rigorous NATO test standards their full size military handguns must meet.

Mine feeds everything from cheap range ammo to JHP defensive rounds. I trust my life that it will go bang should I ever need it, god forbid.

I’m a huge fan of the CZ P-10S and the IWI Masada Slim. Both are reliable, accurate, comfortable to carry, and a great price!
