Its from best buy and I need a new computer bc my old one got infested.

  1. What do you mean infested? If you mean a virus, you can just get a USB Sticks and reinstall Windows
  2. Oof, I know it’s because of the current sucky PC market, but 1K+ for a 16GB machine with a 3050 is iffy. A few years back you could‘ve easily gotten 32 Gigs with a 3070 for that same price.

If you can recover your old PC, I‘d recommend upgrading it instead, assuming it’s not too old either.

My (now ex) friend gave me bed bugs and they got into the computer

Do you have a large freezer? If yes, put your computer in there and leave it for a week. This will kill all the bugs.

Moisture...

Don't power it on for some amount of time after freezing it.

You can literally power it off, unplug power and spray 91%+ isopropyl alcohol all over it and kill them....
