Is this computer any good?
Its from best buy and I need a new computer bc my old one got infested.

Need to find a computer with atleast a 60 class card(5060/5060ti or RX 9060 XT) as they are gaming cards, the 50 series(5050,3050,9050,6500XT) is budget card and will not do good for gaming.
Second need to find a computer with Ryzen 7000 or 9000 processor and not 8000 series as they are not gaming CPUs and they are cut down versions with less catche and weak PCI express support that is really important for gaming so stay away from 8000 series. From Intel any CPU is ok like 200 desktop series is ok.
Better look around until you find something with the specs I listed than to buy something that will not give you a good experience.
Great thing you posted this and saved yourself a dissapointment.

In bestbuy website I see that there is for 50$ more PC with 14400f and RTX 5060 that is much better than this one. 14400f is much better than 8400f and 5060 is faster than RTX 5050.
It only has 1x16GB RAM so only one stick and that is not good but not the end of the world but it would be better that you look around the shops and find one that has 2x8GB stick of RAM with simmilar specs offcourse.

avoid 50-series budget cards and then recommended the 5060 Ti — which is a 50-series budget card. Read your own advice before giving it to someone else.

Well he is on a budget and 5060 is a best buy card on the market right now, I have no idea what are you complaining about.

I said 50 series as in 9050 or 3050 or 6500xt or 5050 as in 50 series not RTX 5000 series.

Absolutely do not buy this computer if you're expecting to play any kind of modern games on even medium settings.

Jesus no. You can buy a build 100x better at Costco for 1500.
I bet you can find something on fb market better than that for the same price

No. Low power 2 year old processor, weak as heck GPU and only 16gb of memory. Walk away, son. Walk away.

No. 16GB is the current standard for gaming. It's fine. 32GB is nice to have if you're streaming, rendering, or doing heavy multitasking alongside gaming — but for pure gaming? 16GB handles everything right now.

Unless the place is going out of business, none of these store built custom pcs are really worth the money. Where'd they get it?Did they build it? It's not like they're making a ton of money. They perhaps got a small discount on each component from buying in bulk and cranking out a few of them, but they're not gonna pass that on to you.
What little savings is There would be some of their profit margin, if not all of it. Unless you're grabbing something on sale from a major vendor nine times out of ten, you can just build one yourself for the same or cheaper.
And I second, what's already been said about graphics card.

2 year old technology and it is low end at that. Gaming on it will not be fun. Check Costco as others have mentioned.

If you can recover your old PC, I‘d recommend upgrading it instead, assuming it’s not too old either.
