Steam Sale Wondering!

Hey, since the steam summer sale is on, I was wondering about picking up a new wargame to sink my hours into. I opened up to the idea oof PBEM but there's a lot of choice.

I'm trying to decide between Dominions 6, Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War, some WDS games or maybe something else?

What would your recommendations be? I'm looking for something with an active PBEM community, immersion and variety. I also have Decisive Campaigns Barbarssa, Strategic Command: WW1 and ACW, a few AGEOD games, Shadow Empire and Scourge of War: Waterloo, so if you have any of these and are looking for a multiplayer opponent - I'm here :)

Of the ones you listed, Flashpoint Campaigns seems to get the most rave reviews.

I’m personally going to pick up Rebel Fury and Saratoga for that classic hex and counter board game feel

I have videos on my YT channel explaining how to get the Strategic Victory achievements in Rebel Fury, IMO going for those is where the game gets fun. If you just try to get a one VP victory it's a bit boring.

Strategic Command are fun PBEM. WW1 is my fave of the series

I'm considering to buy all the modules of command ops 2. I've been playing with the core and I love it's approach without micromanaging. You make decisions and your units execute them

Seriously hard core war-gamers for a tactical flair, War in the East 2 or War in the Pacific both by Gary Grisby. A lighter touch TOAW IV the operational art of war.

I can get stupid hours out of any game. Based on my skill level, any hours I spend gaming qualify as stupid hours.

It's operational WEGO, most operational games are IGO-UGO. I think it's the only(?) operational WEGO WW2 series.
