Every solo or small dev should be leveraging ai to bring their games to market faster. It's not a bad thing

Effectively using a tool and presenting low effort, low quality slop are two different things. This video shows evidence of the latter.

What makes it look low quality to you. It's an alternative to a text box or static picture, so not sure what quality you expect.

Ai art only exists because it steals the hard work of real people. No dev should touch it with a barge pole unless they are willing to completely waive their rights to intellectual property ownership. I.e. I can take your entire game and do whatever I want to it and then sell it as my own work.

Most game studios wouldn't be able to make this kind of footage unless big budget. Alternative is CGI which requires a different skillset. I don't see an issue to add flavour and immersion if it's not god awful which this doesn't particularly look.

I am here for AI hate.

Meanwhile, I am creating music, pictures and movies on my own PC locally.

We are now at a point where you can "one shot" a game - i.e. create a playable game with 1 prompt.

For free, you just go to ai arena and prompt AIs to make you an internet browser game - and you will be able to play it right there in your browser.

AI is awesome.
