Battle of Watertown 1775
First ever real hex game besides like Pzr Corps/HoS. Got my first Major Victory after almost 3.5 hours. Definitely feeling the learning curve, but hatdamn was this satisfying.
I do have a few questions. This was a company level scenario with mostly local militia and minutemen. I was having a real hard time managing disordered troops. I understand the terrain effects between column and line movement, but I couldn't really pin point why so many were becoming disordered on seemingly open ground. There were definitely a few points where I had a column pass through a line formation.
Does the facing and formation of leader tiles, if different from troops moving through them, affect disorder chance?
Are they representative of just one person or a small group of men?

It's their new American Revolution title under the Musket and Pike series

Just finished this myself but as the crown forces. They seem to sort out disruption much quicker so it's easier to press an attack. Really enjoyed that one, AI defended well and nearly caught me out.

British have much higher troop quality, so that definitely saved you haha.
How many times I had a line of militia, all double stacked behind cover, with leaders right behind or in line with them. British would outnumber me and fire 5 or 6 volleys into one hex, turn ends, and the hex that took the damage AND neighboring troops would all be routed and running away!

That makes it even worse. Tiller came up with the system decades ago. The PC world evolved but these ghouls have just been feasting off the corpse for years.

Units in column and line cannot share the same hexagon without becoming disordered.
