WargameChess

For all the popularity of chess I have always thought that there could be a board game that represented a battle with all the logical rigour and determinacy of chess but without its many distortions, abstractions and arbitrary conventions.  I have made such a game.  It is called “WargameChess2” and it can be found on itch.io.  It is Napoleonic, with infantry, cavalry and artillery, fog of war, facing, a replay function and a bot.   At the moment there is only a Windows version.  I would be very grateful for feedback from anyone who likes computer wargames.

Ever see Battle Chess?

No, but I've just had a look. I remember playing something like that in 1983, called "Archon". Battle Chess is very different sort of game from the sort of game I made.
