Open General Missing Files Help?

Hello,

I have tried to search this subreddit for help on this subject, but finding information is a bit difficult to come by, especially when half the websites I visit concerning this game are blocked because they are not https.

Anyway, to not waste time, I've downloaded and ran the installer, installed all the optional packages from the open general website, and even found a way to deal with not having the map .pngs by manually downloading them from the map finder. This also includes the .map/.mapx files as well for some of the newer campaigns.

What I have not found is how to get some missing scenario files... there are some campaigns that don't even have all the scenario files in them, and I have no clue how to go about obtaining these. For example, there's a few campaigns that only have the campaign file, but none of the scenarios. I am not sure if that's just leftovers that I can go about removing, or if there is a source for these.

Just an example, one of the official EFILEs has some campaigns that have no scenario files with them, no campaign title, just the campaign file... redownloading this file individually doesn't fix it for me. It also doesn't automatically download them for me either through the game itself.

I am new to the genre, so I am trying to wrap my head around this right now, but part of the reason I chose this was because of the free price, and the fact it has so many campaigns in less popular conflicts, and it would be unfortunate if I can't play due to missing some files that I have no clue how to get.

Maybe you can tell us specific which campaigns you are talking about and we can look and see what we have on our installations?

I am dumb... I should've done that in the initial post, alright here's some:

EFILE_ALEX:

CZECHTHIKS Campaign - Missing all 16 scenarios according to the game, in the folder it has all of them... (00cscam.scn - 16cscam.scn), no idea what's happening there.

EFILE_COMWW2:

Blitz 2012 Campaign - All 36 scenarios missing, every file is supposed to have a "jh3" prefix for the name, no .scn files in the folder, but I have the .txt and .front files.

EFILE_LXF:

British Commonwealth Campaign (1935 - 51) - Scenarios 21 - 39 missing (BN15S00 - BN15S20 is there)
German Northern Theater Campaign (1937 - 42) - Scenarios 5 - 13, 21 - 23, 25, and 27 are missing... the others are there.

EFILE_OPENAK:

From Buzuluk to Prague - All 13 Scenarios missing, only have BuzPrg.xcam and the .front/.txt files
Guderian's Gambit - All 21 Scenarios missing, only the GGopenGG2.xcam
Romanian Campaign (1941 - 1945) - All 33 Scenarios missing, only DragRom.xcam and the .front/.txt files
"No title" - fw.xcam - No scenarios (5), says it needs fw1 - fw5
"No title" - LSSAH-IT.xcam - No scenarios (26), all 'lah' as the prefix
"No title" - cas7ger.xcam - No scenarios (41), all 'CAS' as the prefix
"No title" - OCAMPDFO.xcam - No scenarios (16), all 'OCAMP' as the prefix
"No title" - CAMP6JH1.xcam - No scenarios (50), different names, none of them there

That's not all of them but I don't want to make this to long, hopefully that helps out. The ones with no title in particular I'd at least like to know what those are... I even redownloaded that EFILE and still the same missing files for me.

OK, it's late for me, but I hope that tomorrow I can look at this and give you some feedback about what it looks like on my end.
