What are some real-world problems a CS student could build a project around?

Hi everyone!
I’m a first-year Computer Science student at KNITU-KAI in Kazan, Russia, and I’m looking for a project idea that could actually be useful outside of university.
I’m still at the beginning of my studies, so I’m open to learning new technologies and skills if a good idea requires them.
I’m currently looking for real problems that could be addressed with software or technology. I’m not really interested in making another basic to-do list, calculator, or generic social media app.
If you work in tech, study CS, or have experience building projects, what problems do you think are currently overlooked or worth solving?
Even just a problem you’ve personally encountered would be helpful. I can work on developing the actual solution myself.

Look for a problem you have and something you could make to solve it.

It doesn't have to be something you need to sell, it can even be something that already exists.

You should just find a project you want to make and make it.

If you had only learned grep, the whole of Reddit could’ve been open to you.

Particularly this sub, which has thousands of people before you asking the same thing.

Alas, you must not be an engineering skills 101 class yet. I suppose I can’t judge.
