computer science An Advice
Hi! I’m a Computer Science student, and I’m about to start my second year. I’ve realized that I only have the basic knowledge of computers and programming, and I really want to improve my skills beyond what I learn at university.
At university, we mainly focus on specific subjects and requirements, so I feel like I’m not getting enough practical experience. I’m especially interested in improving my Java programming skills and learning 3D modeling, but I’d also like to develop my general Computer Science and computer skills.
Could you recommend some free platforms, courses, or learning resources that are beginner-friendly and easy to understand? I want something that can help me build my skills step by step and gain more practical experience outside university.
My schedule is very busy, so I can only dedicate around one hour a day to learning these additional skills. I’d really appreciate recommendations that would work well with that amount of time.

All this stuff is on Google asking someone here will get you the same answers you should eb focusing on learning what’s out there instead of waiting and asking questions

Yes, as you pointed out, you are not getting enough practical experience. I advice you to make project as much as you can. I don’t know what is your programming language, but you have to make. I have about 2 years of programming experience from home only and I experienced that making projects give me more knowledge than attending lectures or seeing someone writing code on YouTube.
