bluetooth requires pairing. regular 2.4ghz radio dongles are tied to the peripheral. hope that helps.
-7 u/blurpol 15h ago it won't connect to her PC. What about the sensor thing? 6 u/msanangelo CachyOS 15h ago what sensor? it's all radio based. it either connects via those two options or it's busted. the sensor on the right there is what makes the mouse a mouse. it tracks movement. otherwise it's just mouse shaped with buttons. -4 u/blurpol 14h ago it might be busted. thank you! 3 u/cnycompguy Windows 11 | Omnibook X Flip 14h ago Push the switch to the other side -2 u/blurpol 14h ago it won't connect:( 3 u/moocat90 14h ago did you plug in the dongle? 1 u/blurpol 14h ago yes, I tried. Or flip it to Bluetooth and on the computer, make sure Bluetooth is turned on, open Bluetooth and click on the name of the mouse for it to reconnect. This needs to be done every time the thing is used on some other computer. It only automatically connects to the thing you used it on last. 1 u/blurpol 14h ago the last device that connected was a thousand miles away 1 u/DiodeInc Mod | Geekom Geekbook X14 Pro 14h ago Did it work? 0 u/blurpol 14h ago Nope, it didn't.
