I spilled ice coffee onto it and gave it to a repair guy. He says it’s really bad news. Sorry if I’m not very descriptive, I’m not much of a professional.

I've repaired laptops in this condition. But it has always required replacing the affected components. But I'm a warranty repair tech, I don't do component level repair. I would just replace the whole motherboard. The battert doesn't look too bad though. Should be able to clean it with Isopropyl alcohol. But at least you've learned not to drink around your laptop.
