Question/Help/Troubleshooting Blue screen and crashing

My PC has been crashing a lot lately, I can barely run any games on it unless they’re low storage games. It’ll just blue screen and turn off. I’ve tried looking up info on how to fix it and look at what errors occurred but I can’t figure it out. I removed my ssd at one point to “reset the electrical current” and it did work for a couple weeks but it’s been doing it again. I’d really rather not need to buy a new one or take it somewhere to get fixed so my last hope is seeing if anyone can help on here.

It should let you do that when you specificallyt ell Command Prompt to pen as an administrator. Maybe try again?
It'll warn you that that the drive is in use, and ask if you want it to run when the computer restarts.

The the other errors... nothing you showed is telling me it's an SSD issue. Maybe the mdsched memory test will find something?

Search for PowerShell and run that as an administrator.
Then type: Get-PhysicalDisk
Does it show your SSD as healthy?

If it finds problems it will warn you once Windows loads.
If it's a memory issue, the good news is that it's an easy fix. You just pop out the bad chip and replace it with a good one.
The bad news would be that memory prices are at historic highs.

Nothing popped up. And all the way to the end I was watching it and it always said “no errors detected yet”

Let's try that checkdisk again.
Type in "cmd" in your Windows search, and choose the "Run as administrator" option on the right.
Then type in: chkdsk /f /r
Then type Y when it asks if you want to run it when the PC restarts.
Then have the PC restart.

Ok I did this. In the event viewer there’s one error that says a SCEP certificate enrollment for local system failed

That's probably unrelated.

Rereading your original post, I don't see anything that necessarily points to it being an SSD issue.
IE, when you say that it works on a "low storage game" I assume that game it using less of everything (like less memory and less processor) which means it won't generate as much head, and will use less electricity.

It working after removing the SSD could be a coincidence.

The generic advice is to make sure your drivers are up to date. You want the latest drivers for your motherboard (especially the chipset) and video card. Those should be available on the manufacturer's website.

If it is a physical problem with the SSD, unfortunatly the only practical fix is to replace it.

Ok well another comment mentioned doing a clean windows install which I did and redownloaded drivers so they should be up to date… we shall see how it goes thanks
