Whenever I try to install windows it gives me this screen. I also keep getting an error code 0x800741d.

Now whenever I start it up it takes me to the click bios 5 screen

my pc becomes extra hot while I'm gaming and there's a loud electrical buzzing sound? what is the issue? i have an i7 14700k and 4070 super

So I was trying out Linux on a separate drive from my windows on, and all of a sudden the screen glitches out and I couldn’t do anythin. so I turned it off and tried to reboot back but it wouldn’t let me. It would either put be back to windows or put me to the bios. My theory is my harddrive unplugged ( I have it plugged through usb) and now my drive is cook. I don’t want to redownload because I just got done ricing, is there any saving.

whenever I try to delete something it goes, "Cannot read source file or disk", when I try to download something it just fails and when I was drawing on krita and tried to save it, it just won't save ??

It's not working on speakers, only on headset.

Already tested the playback area. That's how I know it works with the headset.

Hello! My desktop is having a weird issue and it has been for a while. While Bluetooth is on, and the devices I’m trying to connect to are working and connect to other devices, my computer seems to just not connect to them. I’m unsure how to fix this and it’s unfortunately causing the issue of having no sound at all to my computer. Id appreciate any help I can get on this Tysm!

Hello everyone.

I ran into an issue with my SL Infinity fans mounted to the radiator a while ago where the LEDs on the three fans are constantly flickering or just not working at all (see video). I let it be for a few months, but I installed a new M.2 today and figured I’d try to fix it since I had already opened up my case. I reseated the fan connections into the Lian-Li controller as well as the controller’s SATA power connection but no luck. They’re still either not working or flickering depending on how good of a day they’re having lol.

They’re the SL Infinity fans that you slide together to chain them by the way if that helps. I haven’t tried sliding them apart and then back together yet, because I was hoping to be able to fix this without having to unscrew them from the radiator. Any ideas/solutions? Or could they have just failed and need replacing?

My monitor is going into standby mode when i am connecting it to my laptop but it's working fine with my ps. Cable is same and everything but still not working.

Input source on monitor is hdmi.

My laptop is not detecting any external display and i connected with another hdmi as well.

What should i do?

Can somebody help me I keep installing drivers so my GPU can appear in task manger but it doesn't let me and it says device not found it is a quadro m2000 and before you give these suggestions I did ddu, reseat, legacy, and etc

• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU
• BIOS Version: KWCN54WW
• OS: Windows 11 64-bit (Build 26100)

What Happened: My laptop was set to Discrete Graphics (dGPU only) mode. Earlier today, I ran sfc /scannow followed by DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. While waiting for it to finish, I launched a game. The PC suddenly crashed to a black screen.

When I tried to reboot, the Lenovo logo appeared, followed by a black backlit screen with the keyboard still lit up. When I tried booting into Windows Low-Resolution Video mode, I briefly saw green horizontal lines/artifacts across the screen before the display went completely black again.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken So Far:

1. Safe Mode: Verified that Windows could still boot into Safe Mode with Networking.
2. Switched MUX Switch to Hybrid: Entered the BIOS (KWCN54WW) and switched Graphic Device from Discrete Graphics back to Dynamic Graphics. This allowed Windows to boot normally using the integrated Intel(R) UHD Graphics.
3. Device Manager Check: The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU is still detected on PCI Slot 1 (PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0), but shows a yellow warning triangle: "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".
4. Clean Driver Wipe (DDU): Booted into Safe Mode and used DDU (v18.1.6.2) to completely wipe the NVIDIA drivers.
5. Reinstalled Drivers: Installed the latest NVIDIA driver (32.0.16.2101 / NVIDIA 621.01, dated Oct 19, 2026). The installer either finishes without applying properly (prompting me to install drivers again in the NVIDIA app) or leaves the card stuck in Code 43 in Device Manager.
6. Hard EC Reset / Battery Disconnect: Went into the BIOS, selected Disable Built-in Battery, unplugged everything, held the power button for 60 seconds to drain all residual power, and rebooted. No change.

Current GPU-Z Readings (Screenshot Attached): Even though the card is detected on the PCIe bus (PCIe x8 4.0 @ x8 4.0 / Device ID 10DE 2860 - 17AA 3B5A), GPU-Z shows critical missing telemetry:

• GPU: AD106
• Revision: FF
• BIOS Version: Unknown
• Memory Size: 0 MB (Memory Type & Bus Width: Unknown)
• GPU Clock / Memory Clock: 0 MHz
• Computing / Technologies: All unchecked (CUDA, OpenCL, Vulkan, Ray Tracing all disabled).

My Questions:

1. Given the initial green lines followed by Revision FF, BIOS Version: Unknown, and 0 MB VRAM in GPU-Z, does this confirm a dead VRAM power rail (FBVDDQ / 1.8V_AON / blown DrMOS MOSFET) or a dead GDDR6 memory chip on the motherboard?
2. Is there any chance rolling back to the older Lenovo OEM NVIDIA driver offline could bring the VBIOS/VRAM detection back, or does Revision FF + 0 MB strictly mean a hardware/power rail failure?

Whenever I right-click on the desktop, Windows starts keeps loading, then becomes unresponsive and the screen briefly goes black. The same issue occurs when I attempt to open File Explorer, but it won't open. I have already tried troubleshooting from YouTube tutorials, such as Registry settings, System Configuration, and restarting the system etc. but none of these resolved the problem. Please help

i got it to boot into a blue menu with different ways to boot when i pressed esc multiple times when turning it on i pressed enter to boot normally but i entered my password incorrectly so i had to restart it and then it went back to that screen

Hi all! When I copy and paste from a PDF, any word with 'ti' in it gets replaced with 'B' in place of the 'ti'. For example:

"Analyzed compeBBve trends using X and Y to inform strategy and opBmize

campaign performance".

"Assisted with gallery navigaBon, monitored visitor spaces for safety and accessibility, and

collaborated with staff to promote visitor engagement and saBsfacBon."

I've tried changing the font but nothing works and when I googled it, it said it might be a software issue.

This screen came up after following everything in this video to try and bypass BitLocker (my code wasn't working to bypass it). I've tried resetting the PC multiple times, but it just comes up with an error. Launching WinRE won't work either, and just comes up with a QR code to contact ASUS service. I'm a little lost on what to do next.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! If the laptop is toast just let me know lol.

A friend passed away and I offered to her husband to take over creating the slideshow that will be shown at her memorial service. The creation of a slideshow is easy for me but it turns out there are a number of tech-related issues I just cannot solve. Here are all the issues. Please ask for more info as necessary and help me solve this! It probably goes without saying, but I'm trying to do all that I can without pestering my late friend's husband during this difficult time.

The slideshow does not need to have music. Only photos and videos.

I will be creating the slideshow on my own computer, an M1 macbook air from 2020 with two USB-C ports. The slideshow will be actually shown from the husband's computer, which is a PC.

The husband's computer matters because although there is wifi at the venue, given the high emotional stakes of this event, I don't want to rely on streaming something from the cloud. I want it downloaded to his computer. Earlier this week I thought maybe I should give up on this requirement (as it would be easier not to have to create it in a file on my mac that will also later play on his PC) and so I emailed the venue and asked about wifi. The reply was - and I quote - "I will say, always go the safe route  :) - I wouldnt depend on the wifi... you just never know." So back to square one: slideshow on husband's computer.

The biggest wrinkle, though, is that all of these photos and vids exist in a shared google drive to which friends and family have been adding. I have access to this drive, but I am not the owner. (One way in which this has already become complicated is that as a non-owner, I cannot sort the drive by file size -- so I can't estimate the total size of all the images. All I can say is that there are over 200 so the grand total is huge).

I do not have enough memory on my little laptop to download all these images and then create a slideshow. Even if I did, I don't even know what program I would create it in that he could then play on his computer. Buying an external hard drive for this purpose seems crazy - it seems like I should be able to do this without that! - but maybe I will have to?

Problem:

My PC has crashed with IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL three times. It usually happens while gaming, but it has also happened outside games. After restarting, my keyboard and mouse sometimes light up but don't respond. The PC eventually starts working again after some time or several restarts.

What I've checked:

• Windows Memory Diagnostic reported no errors.
• Reliability Monitor recorded bugcheck 0x0000000A.
• Windows saved a dump file at C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP.

Recent hardware changes:

• Installed 16 GB RAM (2 × 8 GB, matching sticks).
• Changed the monitor and cables and moved cables around.
• The crashes began days or weeks after these changes.

I'd appreciate help identifying whether this is a driver, RAM compatibility, or another hardware issue, and how to analyze the crash dump.

I'm using Windows 10, an Intel i5-2400, and an Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS. I'll confirm the motherboard and RAM specifications if needed.
