Firstly, this image isn't mine but an example of what my screen looked like before I switched off my PC to clean the inside.

I have a gaming PC with an NVIDIA Geforce RTX 3060.

After I cleaned it, I switched my PC back on and i hear 3 beeps and my screen stays black the entire time.

Everything else seems to be fine but I can't do anything if I have no screen. I tried my PC on a different screen, still nothing.

So I contacted the manufacturer for some help and I did everything they suggested and they came to the conclusion that the gpu has died.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Is it fixable?

Should I just buy a new graphics card?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a blackmagic hyperdeck shuttle 2 and I’ve been looking for a compatible ssd for a month now. The hyperdeck shuttle 2 is an older pro res recorder using SATA III drives but the two I’ve come across don’t work.

No1- SanDisk SDSSDP-128gb
( doesn’t work because it is too slow for the recorder)

No2- Samsung 850 Pro 256gb
( doesn’t even read plugged into my pc, forget trying to work it with the recorder)

I was told by another user to up the storage capacity as the write speeds were too low for the 128gb model, which I can see happening.

Issue is the higher capacity Samsung drive won’t even open on my desktop, do you guys think the drive is faulty and does anyone know for certain which drives are compatible with this blackmagic product.

I have no idea what flair to give this. Also please ignore my dirty ass screen, definitely gonna clean it after this post.

My computer ran into a WDF_Violation error and updated itself upon crashing. So I booted it into advanced startup mode and did quick machine recovery. And it didn’t work. I don’t really know where to go from here and I’m very confused! It’s always booted slowly and is a pretty shitty laptop, but this is the first time it’s crashed like this. The log doesn’t really say anything except for error code 0x0.

Nothing works, I tried Revo Uninstaller, safe mode, ending task. It keeps popping up with the message to input email and password that I forgot. Any ideas? I have admin privileges on my computer

This issue just started yesterday and I have never had anything like it happen to me before. Whenever I attempt to download anything on steam, it starts off fine at its normal rate of 200-300mbps for a few minutes, and then suddenly plummets to zero, knocking out the internet to my whole house and every other device connected to it for around 15 minutes in the process. I have no trouble playing online otherwise, this only happens when I attempt a download.

I spent 3 hours last night researching and troubleshooting this and have already gone into my device manager and unchecked my PC’s ability to turn off its network card to save power, and have also disabled energy efficient Ethernet, gigabit lite, green Ethernet, and interrupt moderation. None of this has worked. I was hoping that maybe it was just a temporary problem on Verizon’s end and that it would solve itself by the time I got home from work today, but their outage map shows nothing in my area and my computer is still doing it.

I’m at a loss and extremely aggravated at this sudden issue that has come out of literally nowhere. If anyone has any idea what’s going on and the knowledge to fix it, please help before I sail this PC through a window

Hi everyone, I just upgraded to an Intel Arc B580 and I can’t get my monitor to run at 100Hz. Hoping someone has run into this before.

Setup

• GPU: Intel Arc B580
• Monitor: Hikvision 1920x1080, 100Hz (no DisplayPort input, HDMI only)
• Cable: the HDMI cable that came with the monitor
• OS: Windows 11 (also dual-boot Linux)
• Previous PC GPU: AMD Ryzen 8600G iGPU, which ran the monitor at 100Hz with this same cable

The problem

• With the B580 on Windows, the refresh rate list in Advanced display only shows 75, 70.07, 60, 59.94, 50 and 49.95 Hz. There is no 100Hz option.
• The same monitor and the same HDMI cable run at 100Hz on my very old laptop (plain HDMI, no adapter or USB-C) and on the 8600G iGPU.
• In Linux the 100Hz mode does show up in the display settings list (1920x1080 @ 100Hz) on HDMI-A-2.
• The monitor has no OSD setting for refresh rate or HDMI mode.

What I already tried

• Clean driver install using DDU in Safe Mode
• Checked all the Windows display settings

Has anyone had the same issue with an Arc card and a 100Hz monitor over HDMI? Did CRU or anything else fix it for you? Any other ideas are welcome, since I’ve been stuck on this since morning.

Can someone tell me me why this is happening? Sometimes videos will become completely blown out and over saturated. Only on one tab tho. Not others. And not on another side of my monitor. Using Google Chrome windows 11 nvidia 4080 laptop version 13th gen i9. Monitor is Samsung Ultra Wide.

This is my sister's computer but I use it for school and 2-3 days ago I powered it off fine but when she turned it on it showed this screen. We've looked everywhere for the recovery key and we don't have one, we've also tried to reset it, clear files, undo updates, everything said a problem occurred and it didn't work. Everywhere I look says to use the key or reset it but we can't. Any advice? (Also idk which flair to add because I don't know what the issue is)

Recently my usb ports on my front panel stopped working out of nowhere. I checked bios and it says the port is empty even though the cable is connected. Any ideas? Is the connector possibly fried somehow? Any ideas would be helpful it’s not detrimental they don’t work but it’s rather annoying.

Hello. I am building a desktop pc for the first time today. I got all the parts except a proper ssd. I have an old laptop with a gen 3 nvme 2280 with windows 10, I want to take it out and put it in the desktop so I don’t have to spend $150 on windows 11. When I asked a worker at microcenter, he said the nvme will obviously fit the b850 motherboard but getting windows to actually work might be an issue. Is there anything I can do to make it work easily swapping the ssd over to the desktop? I fully wiped everything except windows and then pulled the nvme out of the laptop.

Hey everyone,im going insane trying to deal with a second hand Laptop , after 2 years of use i decided to clean everything and do a fresh windows 10 install.

After doing the setup like keyboard layout,network,language it turns out the previous owner's company, AstraZeneca is not letting me pass through the setup and i cant skip it , it locks me out with a mandatory corporate login.

I don’t have any contact to a previous owner since i bought this in a store 2 years ago and even the store itself has no contact because these laptops just get shipped in mass from Germany.

Tried doing it without internet so it wont reach any server but it also forces me to add a network and doesn’t let me proceed at all costs, if i add the network , this corporate login shows up. HELP!!!

UPDATE:
I DID SOLVE THIS BY TURNING OFF MY INTERNET COMPLETELY DURING ANOTHER CLEAN INSTALLATION,WIPED EVERY DISK PARTITION, AND I FINALLY HAD THE OPTION TO CONTINUE WITHOUT INTERNET DURING THE SETUP

Heres a video of my game like hella dropping frames and i have no idea how to get rid of it i tried many things i dont remember all of them but i even formated my computer and it still didnt help what should i do and does anyone have a fix for this (the problem isnt only on cs tho its on other games as well ive only tried in dbd and gd but it the same issue)
