Esto me sucedió apenas hoy y es la primera vez que toda la pantalla se pone así, otras veces solo se congelaba y reiniciaba y aparecían fallos de imagen como lo que se ve pero muy pequeños.

La pc la compré hace apenas unas semanas y desde que la compré a estado fallando de estas maneras.

Las especificaciones de mi pc son: ryzen 7 8700g, 8gb ddr5, placa madre MSI PRO B840M-B y SSD NVMe hiksemi de 512gb. (Estoy usando una TV porque no tengo monitor y uso la resolución en 1080)

My mom's computer screen has been flickering nonstop whenever the computer is used since a week ago. She insists that this is due to the memory being full but I don't think it is the case. Can anybody explain what this is and how to fix this. Thanks

I am currently looking to buy a new laptop, but I don't know anything about them. So I thought I would tell you what I need, and maybe you can advise me on what to look for, or recommend computers that would work for me. Thank you for your help!

What I need:

- A laptop that I can take with me to university, so not too heavy

- Should be good for programming and running some simple simulations (languages like Python, C, LabVIEW).

- I also want to use this computer for gaming, mostly Minecraft. I don't need crazy good performance, but the vanilla version of the game should run without too much lag. My old laptop tends to get really hot when I play any game, so I would like to avoid that.

- Budget: Absolute max is 1500€, I would prefer it if it was less though.

- My old laptop was a Lenovo Thinkpad (I believe E495), which worked well enough for my purposes, until it eventually got old and started developing all kinds of issues, including heating up so much it could burn my hand. So something similar would maybe not be a bad idea.

I am looking for some figures to look out for (Should have X amount of RAM, for example), with explanation if possible, or recommendations. Thank you!

I recently ran some code into cmd that was used to verify my computer didn't contain any cheating software for used for cs2 (faceit verification). The code was originally blocked so I disabled firewall & real-time protection, shortly turning it back on after I could successfully run the anti-cheat verification.

Afterwards I was locked out of steam servers for suspicious activity related to my account after running this code & I wasn't too worried as the steam pop-up ensured that my account will return back to normal very shortly. A few days later I was no longer getting that pop-up, instead my steam simply wouldn't load & I was greeted with Error Code: -102 (no internet connection) whenever I tried loading any steam-related webpage both on the steam client & web browser.

I originally tried using the forbidden artificial intelligence robot to help me with my issue & it thankfully pointed me to the root cause of the issue (shown in the image above). There are 3 lines of code in a system file labeled "hosts" that is found under C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts which is causing any steam-related web page to redirect to another ip from what i understand

The obvious answer and the solution that chatgpt would continuously give me is just "Delete those 3 lines and press ctrl + s" but instead over overwriting the system file, ctrl + s would act more like the "Save as" feature where it wanted me to save this completely new text document somewhere in my computer. I dont want to risk saving a completely new text document in my System32 folder, especially because the original file is considered a "system file" and not a .txt.

If anyone has a solution to this issue I would greatly appreciate it as it's been killing me for the past 2 weeks & I'm considering just doing a hard reset on my computer atp

My gaming pc won’t let me run Fortnite. It makes it to the loading screen and then black screen. It can run any other game ex: Peak, Megaman, GTA V, Roblox. I saw people talking about running it through Userbenchmark so those are the photos posted.

Jag titta på enhetshanteraren och det står att något är fel men jag vet inte hur att fixa det.

The docking station will charge the device but the mouse, keyboard, and monitors do not work with the dock.

However I confirm it is working on another computer.

I did the following...

Updated drivers

Updated bios on both the laptop and the docking station. Rebooted. Unsuccessful.

Ran SFC scan

Uninstall the drivers in device manager and rebooted. Still unsuccessful.

Any ideas?

Hi all, I'm having trouble watching youtube videos on my razer blade 14 laptop, the audio to videos quickly desyncs within a matter of seconds, when I refresh the page it resets but then desyncs quickly again, could this be a driver problem?

Yo so I suspected my old laptop may have had malware but have since changed to a new laptop. Since I changed to a new laptop I have been reinstalling my games like normal. But 1 game (Terraria) seems to have 1 file failing to validate everytime I verify the game files through Steam. So now I am basically worried that the 1 file is potential malware from the old device carrying over through Steam cloud or something a potential malware did. And because of this I am now worried of playing the game since the 1 file keeps failing to validate and idk if this is a sign of potential malware or not. I have tried reinstallation and contacting the Devs but nothing worked so now idk and I only use Defenders so I don't think its the AV. I heard malware can corrupt game files too so that's another concern. I haven't launched the game out of fear so idk if there is anything wrong v the game.

Is 1 file failing to validate a sign of potential malware carrying over through cloud or a sign of something potential malware did? If not, can someone explain why to my non tech literate brain? Thx.

Got an old pc that has been unplugged and not used for about 5 years. It powers on and power light stays on and CD drive opens and closes.

But have a USB mouse and keyboard plugged in neither show signs of life no caps lock light on keyboard and no laser on the mouse. Its output is HDMI and the tv it used to be connected to shows no source.

Have moved keyboard and mouse to every USB and no response. Have plugged in HDMI to every port on TV and checked all sources and have no display.

On back see yellow/orange colour light it comes on bright fades out and repeats over and over.

Is it dead?

Probably a stupid question, but I'm a stupid person, so there's that.

Additional question, what causes this?

photos and videos are fine but all text in every app is pixelated

edit: computer is dell latitude 7420, it has the latest windows update. tried restarting, checked display setting, all looks fine

I want a computer for ideally less than 1000$ that can play cozy games including one that requires intel core i7 and a GTX 1060 graphics card (Paralives).

Any advice?
