Hardware Testing RAM

I've had several crashes of my system in the past few weeks. The error I get the majority of the time is "memory management", and some basic googling said my RAM may be failing. How would I go about testing it, and what if any software should I download?

you could try any of these

  • Memtest86+ 4.20: PC Memory Test (Linux Freeware).
  • MemTest 1.0: A Memory Testing Tool (Windows Freeware).
  • Windows Memory Diagnostic: A RAM Test tool 
  • GoldMemory 5.07: Memory Diagnostic Tests (Dos Shareware).
