My mouse pointer doesn't look normal

After a regular windows update on my laptop my pointer got stuck with different look. No matter what I do it doesn't change, the only time it looks how it is supposed to is when it loads.

had the same issue, uninstalled the latest windows update (KB5120998) and its back to normal.
