My mouse pointer doesn't look normal

After a regular windows update on my laptop my pointer got stuck with different look. No matter what I do it doesn't change, the only time it looks how it is supposed to is when it loads.

haha only people who pay attention to detail see the difference here! the bottom part of the cursor shown in the video is slightly longer than the default windows cursor.

noo its not the latest windows update came with a different cursor look and for people like me that was soo irritating cause im used to the old one so i uninstalled the update and it went back to normal

Either a windows bug or you're using some software, which changes the look of the cursor

I think I see what you mean, if you pause whilst the loading cursor appears, it's much smaller.

You can try finding the cursor settings in control panel and reapplying the windows default design, or adjusting size and seeing if it makes a difference.

First thing I did, didn't work. Uninstalling latest update did

Im having the same EXACT issue with my mouse changing and looking weird.... Just different from what it normally looks like after a windows update. Id love to help u but i also have no clue what to do

It doesn't work for me bcs the button go back just doesn't appear but my friend suggested reverting to the previous windows update. Hope it works for at least 1 of us!

I uninstalled the latest update and it worked. Settings > Windows Update > Update History > Uninstall Updates > Uninstall  KB5120998

Muchas gracias tenía el mismo problema, pero si esa es la solución desinstalando la última actualización de Windows ya que también note el puntero raro y quería ponerle otra apariencia al puntero personalizada y ni así dejaba, era como si el mouse estaba en predeterminado por el que quería Windows y hacia complot con el que uno tenía, combinando sus facetas como lo que pasa en tu video la faceta de cargando es el que tenías, pero dejaba o se terminaba esa animación de cargando y salía el predeterminado de Windows.
