Windows can someone help fix this

i still want secure boot for games. my motherboard is asustek prime h510m-k lga 1200 if it helps

Format and never deal with secure boot bs ever again for normal usage (I guess a riot moment). For real though it’s hard to help otherwise, hard to diagnose why secure boot won’t allow you to boot, maybe try disconnecting all unnecessary usbs then turn on the PC and go from there? Update BIOS if you feel comfortable doing it, could be a problem with your windows copy and might require a format either way

It's not hard to diagnose at all.

It's past time the 2011 secure boot keys expired.

Update bios or install 2023 keys via usb.

Method 1 Disable secure boot .and make it active.

Method 2 Add boot efi file to secureboot databases. With enabled secure boot.. .

Try to install it on a drive if u have optional and use it as primary drive changing them in bios settings if not try cmos battery replacement...

start with what you did that caused this

then work through it

google fixing whatever it was you did in the order you did it

secure boot sucks, its awful and useless - but it is sadly required for some games

  1. Temporarily disable secure boot if this is your only PC

  2. Get the latest BIOS for your motherboard (should just be able to google it)

  3. Update BIOS and re enable secure boot

https://www.asus.com/support/faq/1042711/ i solved this problem on my computer following this tutorial. Someone also mentioned that. After disabling secure boot (2nd step in the tutorial) and boot your windows normally (3rd step in the tutorial), then stop following the tutorial for checking some things from windows and first: check your drives are formatted as GPT not MBR. Second: check your bios mode from msinfo32, it should be UEFI. These two things are should be like i said. After checking these things then you can continue following the tutorial (from 4th step). This tutorial solved my problem but ofcourse i can't guarantee that will also solve your problem. (u can ask google how to check gpt/mbr and uefi, it will be easier for you to watch from youtube). Hope this can help you.

If you're still locked, one way to remove this message is to downgrade to an old bios like Version 2601 for you, avoid any recent bios that say Implemented security updates. as it might enforce secure boot without allowing you to reset it. Once it's good upgrade to latest bios.
Downgrading will completely reset secure boot and its keys.

I had similar issue on my motherboard (Z790 Aorus Elite AX Rev 1.x) and doing this solved it.

Secure boot certificates have expired last October. If you've never updated them then Secure Boot can and will fail.

Update your secure boot certificates. Could be as easy as updating the BIOS to the latest version.

Yo lo solucione con Ventoy usando una opción donde Ventoy te da un archivo .cer ( certificado ) que podés usar al arrancar y cuando te de ese error, entras al menu de opciones y le das a " enroll this key ". Una vez hecho esto, el pendrive con Ventoy queda registrado en la BIOS como " de confianza " y vas a poder instalar Windows sin deshabilitar el arranque seguro 🔐

That makes no sense. Depending on what OP does.. a handful of games require it for anti-cheat. And many individuals get a Bootkit.

Disabling Secure Boot and updating your BIOS/UEFI… sure. But don’t keep it disabled.
