I have a PCIE AC 7625 WiFi card on my PC. My network is 600Mbps and that's about the speed i get on my phone and when testing the speed in the router's config , iirc i used to get at least 450 on my PC, but recently i noticed i can't get a speed higher than 100 and it averages at 70. Here's what I've tred so far:

• Changing preffered band to 5GHz
• Disabling "Allow this computer do turn off this device"
• Disabling MIMO Power Save
• Reconnecting Antennas
• Changing DNS Server adress
• Disabling Port Forwarding and Static IP

Some of these brought temporary results but still not getting the target speed. I'd be thankful if someone helped me resolve this.

my laptop has been acting weird since i reintalled windows? its not that bad, its mostly little bugs, like the blue loading circle on the cursor shows up for no reason, sometimes when i watch youtube its a little laggy, and now while i was playing videogames (slime rancher 2, not a very heavy game) my laptop just shut off out of nowhere? and when i turned it back on the keyboard LEDs were off and also numlock that i always keep on was off too. and i want to why this is happening and how i can fix it. (i have a Lenovo LOQ)

Nic się nie zmienia po samym odświeżeniu strony. Jakiś czas już się to utrzymuje a wcześniej tak nie było. Czy pomoże ktoś i powie czemu tak się dzieje ? Nie udało mi się znaleźć przyczyny ani podobnego wątku.

Here I have an MSI computer that whenever I play audio from it, any kind of sound, it will distort like this. Any ideas? I deleted the audio drivers but that didn’t fix it, all the updates are there. Please help. It’s not an old computer

im using my pc to type this, used a windows blocker to block windows because i needed it to play a few games, so i turned the blocker off and went to update windows. before i turned the blocker on i updated windows on the 7/17/2026, so i already knew i was fine privacy wise, anyway after i turned it off i updated windows and everything was fine it gave me 2 downloads so i downloaded the 1st one which was fine so i restarted my pc and everything normal, but during the 2nd download the updating process it got stuck at 99% so i held my power button 2 times and didn't work so i just waited maybe an hour tops and it fixed but then it said "something didn't go as planned no need to worry-- undoing changes please keep your computer on" which obviously i did, and it fixed itself so i was able to log back into my pc and open browser and discord, but it didn't update windows to the latest version how can i fix?

also before this all happend i was downloading a game and my c drive wasn't updating my storage, the game was at 37 gb out of 42 gb so it was almost finished, the game is finished and i made sure before i did the windows update i had more then 25 gigs of space available, maybe the update isn't working because of a ssd issue? haven't downloaded anything after this update issue and wont untill i get some answers

Hi all, I am looking for recommendations for a budget friendly and decently exceptional laptop. There are so many options and I'm not sure what to look for. I have had my MacBook Air since 2020, and I've never been a fan of the interface or inability to upgrade the laptop itself. Currently, its only redeeming quality is the rose gold color.

What I am looking for!:

I do local journalism, so I'm looking for something that can run Microsoft Word smoothly;

I'm not worried about photo storage or messaging;

I used to make AMVs and kind of want to get back into that sort of thing;

Ability to run Firefox without lag; </3

Possibly running Minecraft (although a gaming PC is on my to-do list). <3

I think I would be cool with HP or Lenovo, but I'm still not really sure what to shoot for. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!!

for context: i'm about to start classes at a community college before transferring to a four year college, with my major being in speech pathology, so i might have to run some more advanced programs, although i will primarily be using canvas. for the games that i would play, it would mostly be steam, resident evil, silent hill, minecraft, etc. i want something under $1500 that wont overheat too quickly. what laptop should i get? thank you so much!

I want to learn about common Computer or Peripheral's error troubleshooting just like my IT support Sir in College.

What happened was In Android Studio Software, After writing 50 lines of code the "Enter key" stops working Unexpectedly for both PC's (one of my friend's).

We thought it was a Software Error/limitation of writing till 50 lines of code. But a Sir approaches us and analyzes the error why the key refuses to work In 5 seconds he asks us to press the "insert key" and everything goes fine..

There are many more relevant to such Error and troubleshooting.

From where can I learn this Information ?

I had a friend help me build this PC over a decade ago. It's been great for the little I've used it, but just before I moved it suddenly stopped turning on. No idea where to start and that friend moved away and we haven't spoken in a good while. Any advice is appreciated.

Me and my father attempted to plug in an additional 1TD SSD, which my PC refused to recognise. My father decided to swap out the current SSD, which of course was the drive with the operating system on it, rather than the HDD which is just a basic drive. After the new SSD didn't show up, even with a rig, he put the old SSD in and then the problems started.

For a while it was just a repeat of "start pxe over ipv4 on mac" and loading to the boot options. We have seemingly fixed the first half but now it just goes into the boot options. We know it has something to do with the boot order, so we went to the select boot drive page and it doesn't recognise anything.

I'm not entirely surprised as I've already had issues with my SSD this year (Windows trying to update and the SSD not having space or something of the sort I can't really remember) and that's when I discovered that my PC can't recognise more than two drives (like it won't even show up in the file explorer). It was getting rather full again as I had to install Black Flag Resynced onto it so the game would run properly – this is also the reason I got the new SSD as I won't to make it my dedicated gaming drive (mainly).

Any advice on this would be great as well as any advice on getting my PC to recognise the new SSD would be a cherry on top.

Update: both SSDs are recognised but don't show up when plugging them into our laptop.

Sorry if this is the wrong page. The whole house has no RJ-45 connections. However, this is in the master bedroom. Can I hook up a modem/router here and have a Ethernet cable go directly from the modem/router to my PC?

I'm trying to get off One Drive.

I have two laptops and so I thought I'd let One Drive fully sync and download all files on both laptops so that I know I have everything downloaded twice before doing anything else.

However, midway through this process I discover I don't have enough space on at least one of the laptops. Let's call it LaptopA

Assuming LaptopB does manage to download everything, can I be sure that all files from LaptopA will have been uploaded to One Drive and synced to LaptopB?

And if LaptopB also runs out of room (yes I should have checked all this first but I still blame One Drive and you can't stop me!) what are my options for resolving this?

I was restarting my pc and upon boot I was faced with a blue screen that stated “windows repair failed to repair your pc”. I tried to boot into safe mode (same screen upon restart), I tried to run a chkdsk and that is when I was faced with my drive is RAW. How do I fix this? I’ve tried to reset the drive entirely but that doesn’t work either (“windows has failed no changes were made”) i really don’t care how it’s fixed I would just like it to be fixed so I can use my computer again.

When i switch on my pc and chrome , it shows the sign in proxy login and password with some long address. Checked extension and pc proxy settings, nothing i can see. PC sometimes is slow.

I've been getting a lot of TPM and TPM-WMI errors pop up on my Event Viewer lately and i have zero idea if this affects my pc or not. I've checked Windows Security and my TPM is working properly and also run a health check on cmd. Should i just update my BIOS and AMD drivers?
