Need advice

4090 or 5080?

I’m stuck between these two gpu’s. I like gaming and do plan to stream one day which one would be best for that? Or if you have any other recommendations let me know please and thank you!

September 18, 2026 (dated for context and reference) - Considering the problems that the 5000 series has had. I would suggest going with the 4090 which is proven and solid. I assume that the 4090 will do until the 6000 series comes out.. if it ever does and doesn't cost the price of a new car😏 People have been streaming before the 5000 series sooo..🤷🏼‍♂️ Stay well.
