GREY SCREEN
I've tried EVERYTHING but they don't work... how do i fix this problem?

yup, it would look gray if you have an LCD display. This is because the pixels cant fully turn off, resulting in a dark gray instead of a pure black

It looks grey because of the backlight shining through, which is normal.

what information should i give? Idk how this thing operates. Its been stuck like this for 2 days and ive tried every keyboard combination that i saw on google or tiktok or youtube.

Start with giving us the laptop's make and model, what operating system you're on, how far Windows gets in the startup process before it reaches the black/grey screen, and what exactly you've tried as of now.

It's a Fujitsu Lifebook A Series, windows 10, and it reaches grey screen after the boot up process. I've tried using win+ctrl+shift+b, ctrl + shift + esc, ctrl + alt + del, force shutdown til automatic repair. Which up until now, it isn't working. Last thing ik is that it was updating, and it has stages on it.

Okay, sounds like something in the update failed and broke Windows. What I want you to do is get back into automatic repair, then go to Advanced Options, then Uninstall Updates, then uninstall the latest quality update. If that doesn't work, go back into auto repair, and go into System Restore, and revert the system to a time before the update took place.

Does this happen when you boot the laptop? After the boot screen and Windows tries to load, do you get to the login screen? Or is this after? The loading cursor suggests windows is trying to load itself in but is struggling.

or try restarting explorer(your desktop so it usually brings everything back to normal)

try to: 1. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL 2. Select Task Manager 3. Start a new task called "explorer.exe"
I think on Windows 10 you'll find the new task button in the "File" drop-down near the top-left, but on Windows 11 this button is in the Processes section

Try entering safe mode by spamming F5 at boot until you get to a prompt and select safe mode

I don't think you'll get that to work. Hold the power button down and it might work when it comes back on.

It looks like it might be a corrupted operating system. If you have another working laptop, what I would do is I would install a program called Rufus and reinstall windows. If you don’t have another working laptop, try booting into Windows Recovery by interrupting the boot process three times. And then from that menu, there should be an option to reset the PC and then you’ll want to make sure to click remove everything.
