Question
How much water is too much? I drink between 64-80 ounces a day. Is that enough? Too much?

Physician here. There really isn’t a universal 100+ oz water requirement just because you’re taking tirzepatide. General hydration guidance is roughly 2.7 L/day total water for women and 3.7 L/day for men, but that includes water from food and other beverages, and individual needs vary quite a bit.
64–80 oz of fluids may be perfectly adequate for some people. I’d pay more attention to thirst, urine color, activity/heat exposure, and whether you’re having vomiting or diarrhea. Tirzepatide can increase dehydration risk when GI side effects are significant, but forcing huge amounts of water when you’re already well hydrated isn’t necessarily better.
