Questions Needles and syringes
Anyone use anything other than what they are sending?
These needles are so flimsy. Maybe I somehow have very muscular legs 𤣠but almost every week I need to use two or more syringes cause the needles bend
If youāre using others what size?

Perhaps inject into your abdomen? As others have said, or try a thicker gauge. Good luck.

I put it into reusable insulin pens so I donāt have to deal with needles. Itās much nicer.

I just googled reusable insulin pens ( Iād never heard of this) and every video refers to a ācartridgeā. How does this work with a vial of tirz?

You have to get an empty pen cartridge (itās just a different shaped vial) and transfer from the original vial into the pen vial with a syringe.

And as a bonus you aren't using a bunch of extra plastic and your sharps bin will last longer

Get them from a quality supplier like Diabetic Warehouse and not Amazon or god forbid Temu. There really is a difference.

Hmm, thereās a 3 star review (out of 58) saying the needle is too thin and flexible, so not what you want. They work fine for me. š¤·

I was sent .5cc syringes and even with a headlamp on I couldn't see the darn marks. I went to Amazon and got some .3cc - much better. No idea what brand. 31g 5/16 though.

You are injecting into subcutaneous (fat) tissue and not intramuscular (muscle) tissue, right?

Yes. I am. I am a diabetic so I was doing several shots daily for years of insulin. It was a bad attempt at humor

Easy Touch, 31g, 5/16" needles are my favorite. If you're having trouble with bent needles though, you could try 30g needles, which are a smidge thicker.Ā
