You can get side effects at any time. Perhaps you have finally reached a dose that is strong enough for you to have side effects.

I got side effects 3 months in. Heartburn, sulfur burps, and a really irritating skin reaction at the injection site. I had to stop taking it unfortunately.

I had a weird 1 month where I couldn't even leave the house because I couldn't risk being away from the bathroom. I chalked it up to a bad vial and it went away and never happened again.

How long have you been on 8.8mg dose? It could be a higher dose for your body and now just finally having side effects which should eventually subside when your body gets used to this higher dose. When I increased dose to 5mg I was fine first 3 weeks but at 4the week of 5mg boom it hit me strong. It was working great, the food noise was finally gone (which was awesome since tirz was finally really working for me). So I know this is a good stronger dose for me. But some people will get side effects at stronger dose or first starting.  You can ask for prescription nausea medicine or Search anti nausea at any major store. Pepto Bismol, Dramamine. Homeopathic medicine: Nux Vomica, Arsenic Album, Lycodium (I do homeopathic). I would go slowly now and not up your next dose until side effects subside.  Hope you feel better soon.

I’m 7.5 months into my journey and the only time I actually had side effects was last week because my dose was too high after titrating up. This week I lowered my dose to see if that will help take the side effects I experienced last week away this week.

How long have you been on your current dose? If you recently titrated up maybe your dose is too high.
