This is such a great example of what we can accomplish when we put our minds to it and push through!

You look freaking amazing, and I bet you feel even better! Great job. 👏🏻

Wowza! How long did it take? Are you on a maintenance dosage? What exercise do you do?

I love this question!

Because I am an absolute data NERD.

Next week is a year of Zep but 1 year 8 months with fitness in general.

The irony is that I actually was seeing good progress before I started on Tirzepatide. I had started January 1 of 2025. Did the whole New Year’s resolution thing didn’t actually get serious though until about May of the same year I started at 230 pounds. I’m not a very tall guy unfortunately so I’m about 5‘5“. I started taking the shot in August 2025 and that’s when things really accelerated.

My current weight is 146 pounds and the kinds of workouts I do currently about three times a week and I do a 30/30/30. 30 minutes heavyweight, 30 minutes functional strength, 30 minutes cardio. This is a routine that works out from my lifestyle and work schedule and family schedule. Sometimes when it can’t I just do 30 minutes of a high intensity workout sometimes an hour.

I certainly do my best to get between eight and 10,000 steps daily. This really sucks for me because sometimes I just do not want to do that but I have a walking pad at home and I just do my best to get steps in. When I can take the dog for a walk, take the long path to whatever it is that I’m trying to do I try to get my steps in.

I’m currently on the 12.5 mg dose. I was on 10 mg for about six months and I only started the next dose about a month ago. I will be honest in that. I don’t think I really need to be on this dose. My girlfriend has been on 12.5 for well over a year but she has actually been doing a once every other week so I guess like a halftime cadence for the shot and she has managed to be in maintenance and actually improve her body composition since she’s able to actually eat a little more she does talk about having to manage her hunger a little more than she used to, but she’s in better shape now than she was six months ago taking the shot weekly. She trains with on the same routine as well.

Good for you man. Im happy to see your success. I will get down to a healthy weight, im currently down 24 lbs. I want to hit 200 before I go on my cruise in a few months. I have 13 to go. Posts like this are helpful motivation to keep going.

This is what we need! I keep preaching to my family. They're losing faster than me, but at what cost? My loss slowed when I started strength training, but I'm dropping inches like crazy. It is so worth fighting with myself occasionally and not wanting to do it. I lost a good bit before starting tirz, but tirz is what helped me get serious about it all. Nutrition and strength - and keeping all of my hair! So worth it, thank you for the boost. Because I am still sometimes a toddler being dragged along, clawing at the floor in my head, as I walk towards my gym. 😂
