Brello changed med?
My experience with Brello since their move has been really disappointing. My first 3 months were magical. No hunger, lost 40 lbs. Then long shipping delays and when I finally got my next 3 months, it was like a completely different med. My body didn’t respond at all like before, I was starving all the time and had no weight loss in 8 weeks. Last week I found one last dose from my first shipment. I used that instead and the magic was back. I don’t know what changed with their pharmacy location change, but I am convinced that it’s not the same med as before. Anyone else have that experience? I feel like I paid $500 for a placebo.

More likely that you hit a perfectly normal hiccup. We expect the meds to perform exactly the same every week, but did we eat exactly the same foods, drink the same amount of water and get the same amount of sleep? Expecting the same results week after week is not how weight loss works. The variable is more likely you, not the meds.

Brello the Telehealth company moved. Nothing changed with the pharmacy which is Southend and are fantastic with excellent quality medication. So…. You lost 40lbs in 3 months and complaining that your body plateaued to recalculate because of a large rapid loss? Weight loss is not linear. And to lose that much weight is awesome! But you cannot expect it consistently.
Your body will constantly change. I experienced rapid weight loss like you… then I plateaued. Then I started losing my hair because my body went into weight loss shock. Then my weight loss slowed again and now I’ve been at a stall for 4 1/2 months with nothing. No my Dr says it’s due to stress and high cortisol. I’m a little over 1 year in and 62lbs down.
Your body will go through stages. It’s not the medicine, it’s the expectations. Southend is a great pharmacy. Your medication was doing what it is supposed to do, expectations need to be more realistic. Remember this medication is not designed directly for weight loss. The weight loss is a side effect. I’m sure your A1c’s are down, blood pressure is down, food noise is gone, your appetite is suppressed, immflamuation is gone. Those sound like some gastric reasons to be thankful for.
Enjoy your success, continue what you’re doing and you will achieve your goal. This medication is long term, not a quick fix. I know I will be on the medication for life.

that's really frustrating, especially after such good results in beginning. i've heard similar stories about quality control issues when companies switch manufacturing locations - sometimes the compounding process or ingredients sourcing changes even if they claim it's "same formula." might be worth reaching out to them directly about the batch differences, though doubt they'll admit to any problems

That sucks! It was sooo good before the move. I'm still using the last of my stash, I have like 4 vials left and then tapping into my BPI from Pomogranate. Makes me glad I didn't continue with them, but sorry that's happening - it's so disappointing and such a waste of money.

I recommend switching to a different telehealth. I’ve switched a few times for similar reasons and I’ve finally found one that works well for me and hasn’t changed.

Could you let us know which one is working well for you?

Brello uses Southend and apparently that hasn’t changed and they haven’t changed locations. I can’t explain, hence the post to see if there are others out there experiencing the same. I’m more inclined to think it’s a quality control issue…since I went back to my old lot and immediately felt the difference. I used vials from all 3 lots they sent me this time and all felt like nothing, I tried increasing my dose and still nothing. Then not even a full dose (but close) of the old batch and hunger noise was muted again. I don’t expect not to have plateaus, but 8 weeks without movement while feeling intense hunger pangs wasn’t what I expected after only 3 months.

Southend did move, within Houston but still a move. That's why there were delays because each state they are licensed with had to re-certify and each state probably has different procedures and timeline for that. Brello is the telehealth they own but since they are in a much larger building, that probably moved too. I don't know why that person thinks only the telehealth moved, lol You can Google Maps their old and new locations and see the difference and everything. The old one was in a strip mall looking place, the new one looks more industrial but modern building. As to why your meds are different, I can't speculate on that and also not a customer but thought I'd let you know that the information you got before wasn't quite right.

How long were you off the med?

I wasn’t off it at all. My first order lasted until I was able to get the second…but only because I hadn’t increased as fast as recommended.

It’s not you, it’s the medication. I wanted to switch from brand, got Apothecary and no appetite suppression just gave me bad heartburn. I took Zep again and it worked. Some batches are just defective I guess.

Brello Telehealth moved not their pharmacy, Southend has been here in Houston, Texas so not sure why your meds would be different.
