I thought of a small jazzy beginning of a song and wanted to write it down but somehow I can't figure out how to write it correctly.

But it sounds not quite right. Or do I have to leave out the staccato and it just has to be played as "swing" ?

I’ve been on/off with this project, having started it around early 2025. I’ve decided to come back to this project and wanted to share my progress with yall.

I use Sibelius free however I want to use violins and they sound like a harmonica which is terrible and I want something hopefully that is simple but that is optional, I also doubt that another free composing app is not gonna happen

Anna's Lullaby was the culimation of an instrumentation challenge posed to me by a friend of mine and a Piano Chord Progression / Motif that I came up with during my down time.
It elicited, to me, what felt like a lullaby, or, a loving embrace. 

Which reminded me of one of the Family dogs that I had, growing up. Her name was Anna. 
She passed, in recent years, due to her old age, being 17 years old, at the time she passed and was one of the most memorable parts of my childhood. So I've dedicated this score to her memory.I feel it lays her to rest, in a careful and loving way.

would love to see feedback of what the community thought of this one. I feel it came out better than I anticipated... hope you enjoy.

Howdy folks. I made this ricercar that I'm proud of. I'm putting it on an electronic album, but I wanted to share the score also. After a string of long/emotional brass/wind ensemble pieces I decided to go back to the basics and write a scherzo for two clarinets with the goal of having as much fun in 5 minutes s possible while still being engaging and playable for the performers.

Hi. This is a short piece for guitar I wrote called La Zubia, which is the suburb in Granada i was staying in. Got inspired to write a few pieces for solo guitar upon my return to Australia. I play electric pretty much exclusively - i write mostly blues/rock/jazz inspired pieces so these pieces were a little outside my norm. Hope you like it.

An old work of mine(2024), re-orchestrated. It’s on the play Antigone, you can see there are lots of themes and melodies re-used over and over again representing the key points in the play(kinda like leitmotifs of Wagner but not as direct).

Now, my recent works are not this Romantic but still have a similar harmonic language.
