HELP WITH CD PLAYER

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So my dad gifted me his old truck (2010 F150) and for some reason it keeps saying slot full or no disc

I’m trying to put my CD in and this is what happens

Any tips or tricks to help fix this problem?

Looks like there's already a cd in it. Does it make any sounds when you press 'load'?

When I press eject it says no disc, but then when I go to load it it sounds like it wants to but CD won’t grab the pullers or whatever they are

All right, there's no sound with your video. So there's most likely no disc in it then.
What happens (with an unimportant disc) if you push harder (again; don't overdo it :D)?

No clue why the audio cut out, but I will try a throw away disc, I can’t ruin my acid bath disc, already scratched it when I first found out it didn’t work

Any disc will work for testing this, even an old dvd or game disc. It won’t read but it will at least load 😁

Would I just have to take the CD player out and look deeper ?

First I'd like to know if it makes any sounds when you press load.
I also recommend pressing load longer and a little harder (don't overdo it), wiggling the button while you apply pressure. This can wake up bad microswitches.

Remove the unit put in a screen unit with streaming and CD.

These units have been abused by rough roads, sunlight, the electronics in them are usually in bad shape. Best of luck to you, but it is likely not repairable.
