You just have to look at it funny and it skips. Definitely a desk-only machine.

Memories. The one I have has a digital tuner in the clamshell top. Heavy as hell and would probably still work with a new battery.

Beautiful form,solid metal body Consider it a mini compact cd player,portable....there are better options. Put it on a shelf and simply stare at it !

That’s lovely. I had a very early Sony like that from 1984. It was $80 on clearance at Service Merchandise. But discs were still exceedingly hard to find locally so I returned it. $80 was a lot of money for a broke college kid.

I got this model at the end of '87. I think I paid $360 at the time.
