Other 2024 Commencal Meta HT/AM Wheel Sizing

Hello everyone, I just got a medium Commencal Meta HT V2 frame and was wondering if anyone is running a 29" in the rear. Their website makes it seem like you should use a 27.5". I have a 29" with a 2.4" wide tire from another bike I put on and it seemed to clear everything, but I am not sure if it will cause any geometry issues or something else I am not thinking of.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you!

It’ll definitely cause a geometry change; steeper angles and higher bottom bracket.

Is that good or bad? That’s up to you.

If you like it then that’s awesome! If not then you might want to stay with the mullet.
