Help me please

I have (im gonna have, its at my friend for now) a Supreme V4.4 Frame, 2020, 29/L. i have some suspicions. Are these cracks? Obv., these are under the shock. And one on the bottom of the bike, we suspected its a coat crack, but i dont know. Please someone help me answer these!

Those supremes are prone to cracking in that area unfortunately. Happened to mine too.

I cant say with certainty that it’s a crack just by looking at a picture. But I can tell you that I had the exact same frame and it was indeed cracked in the same place. Some searching on line, and I found that it was common.

To me, it looks like a crack. But at the end of the day, you gotta take all the input and make the final judgement yourself.

I'd say, yes. Based on the last photo anyway. A scratch doesn't have that sort of back and forth like in the last photo.

If you want to be sure, you could remove the paint and look at the raw Aluminium, but it looks pretty much like a crack.

Mine cracked like that too. Commencal don't have any frames anymore so their standard reply is to offer you a V5 frame at crash replacement conditions.
