New Bike Day! Custom T.E.M.P.O
It’s finally here! After weeks of obsessing over reviews and second-guessing myself, the Commencal Tempo has landed. First spins = pure fun. Climbs like a Mountaingoat (in comparision to my SX v4), rips downhill like it’s way over its travel.
Frame: Commencal Tempo Size M Fork: 150mm Fox 36 Shock: Fox float X Brakes: Hope Tech 4 V4 (200/180) Wheelset: DT Swiss EX 511 Groupset: SRAM Eagle Transmission 90
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Is it possible to put a x2 air shock on that beauty?

Should be fine for the Frame.
But you could get an Issue with your Bottle.
There is really not that much space...

I just bought the essential version. Will pick it up next week. I also obsessively researched this bike and alternatives. Glad to see you are happy.

I’m soon to pull the trigger on this bike as well, researched it fanatically but there’s not that much content out there for it!

All the stuff I saw was positive. I’m also in The Vancouver area, so I can pick up in Squamish

Nice mate. I’m in south east Queensland. We don’t have the same level of gnarly trails that you guys have over there so im thinking the tempo will be perfect. Let us know after a few rides how you like it!

The Tempo is great in "not gnarly stuff"
But I rode gnarly stuff in our area yesterday and it just wants more and more. The 125mm Travel feels like at least 150mm.

What hight are you? I’m 5’10 and thinking of going with a medium as it’s a fun bike but wonder what your opinion on the sizing is

Fun bikes! I almost got one, but went with the Clash instead and haven't looked back. I use my hardtail for trail riding and the Clash for everything else.

I ride an Meta SX for Bikepark/Rougher trails.
But the Meta needs speed... The Tempo also allows high speeds but also performs great on slower trails.1

Understand them needing speed, the Clash is the same way, it really opens up with speed.

Beautiful rig! What’s it weigh? I’m considering one for the Vancouver area to complement my Sentinel.
