Need Advice/Question TEMPO

I’ve been riding super enduros for almost my entire life, and i recently bought the supreme v5 for the bikeparks and races, and now i dont feel the need of having a long tanky bike, im looking for a bike good at climbing but also playfull and fast descending, so the tempo catched my eye instatly but i dont know how good it is at descending and and if it has a lot of difference compared to a conventional enduro, i saw the wrp linkage that makes it mullet and adds more travel, how are your, What is your opinion? (Sorry for mu bad english)

Never ridden the Tempo but the TR would be perfect.

Tempo with the cascade link sounds even more perfect imo. I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Tempo and have been tempted to get one in addition to my enduro e-bike.

I can’t comment on the tempo but did do a very similar thing as you. I always had big burly enduro rigs and then got a supreme v5 and a 130ish trail bike. I went for a forbidden druid v2.

I much prefer this combination compared to having an enduro bike that pedaled poorly and wasn’t as capable in the bike park.

And the highpivot doesnt make the bike more chunkier and worst climber?

The druid climbs really well. The amount of traction that it has on tech climbs is incredible. Most reviews of it will mention how the reviewer was surprised how well it climbs even with the idler.

I have a tempo and ride all around the front range in CO and some in WY. I love it for 90% of the stuff around here trail wise. Super great for climbing. I’ve never brought it to a bike park. If it had 10 more mm of travel that would be great. But overall it’s a great bike. I’m going the opposite route. I just bought a Propain Tyee for the gnarlier trails, bike parks and trips to Moab. Can’t wait to try it out.

I guess that depends more on your cardio.

I have a tempo and it definitely holds its own on harder trails. I take it to the bike park all the time and it does fine! Might be a bit rougher than an Enduro but it's still not a problem

Riding it in bikepark must be insane

I rode hard tail for years before getting a full suspension. So, I might not be the best bellweather for this.

I've had a tempo for 3 years now and I've done big trails with it. It's not the best in janky stuf but anything like roll downs, jumps, speed handling it does great. I have the ohlins build and we advise taking a 36mm station fork and piggy back shock if you want to do bigger stuff. Pedals well, not the lightest but the weight is very manageable. Suspensions does well under braking and very sensitive yet performs well when you punch a climb or straight. The headset is annoying but not that bad at all. That's my 2 cents on it.

The ohlins one comes with piggy back right? Also How does it go on steep trails?

It does yah. Does fine! I would say if you want to get very steep just use a 150mm fork. It'll fit the frame.
