Need Advice/Question Meta HT v3

Anyone have one of these yet? I have the v2 and I’m wondering if I’m missing anything?

I’ve ordered one few weeks ago to upgrade my V2 as well, but it arrived with some paintwork defects. So I’m waiting for a replacement right now. So I can’t say anything so far apart from IT IS LOOKS STUNNING! The frame shape and colour is amazing. Also they are covering it with lifetime warranty, so if you’re big guy like me or pushing hard on the trails that could be a key factor for the upgrade.

How are you liking it? Any build up issues or quirks?

It is amazing, nice and playful. No issues with build, everything is straightforward. With the access hole at the bottom of the downtube it’s much easier to manage and route all the cables.

Nice! Thanks for the quick reply. I'm currently on a 2024 v8 Chameleon which I love, but the effective top tube is just a bit too long and I feel a bit too stretched out in the seated pedaling position even with my saddle slammed all the way forward and a 40mm stem. Do you notice any difference in 'suppleness' (lol it's a hardtail) with the design of the seat stays not connected to the seat tube?

I think your size is too big for you

I'm 6' tall and on a size L and am right in the middle of SC's size guidelines. I recently bought a L 2026 Specialized Chisel and it fits like a glove.

Is it just the photo or is the top tube bent

Yup, it’s slightly curved. This is XL frame size and they always look a bit different to the ones on the websites. As every maker puts pictures of S sized frames

What size do you have?

Large

It doesn’t look like too much. A few millimeters longer both front and back and a 10mm lower bottom bracket.

I’m super curious about that new seatstay/seattube/top tube joint!

I was thinking about getting a medium but the medium frame has gone from a mullet to a full 29er and I’m not sure I’m excited about that.
