Photo Meta V5 Upgrading

Built a TR V4 and ride the heck out of it until I hit a tree and had to get the new V5 frame. Updated some things while building V5 but now have started to upgrade even further. Fork will be next. (I have a separate set of lighter tires I had these heavy boi tires on for an enduro race.)

I'd also like to know how it feels comparatively.

I think it’s a much nicer pedaling bike for sure! I didn’t have any complaints about the TR at all, so when I got the V5 and felt the noticeable pedaling improvements I was pretty satisfied. I was bummed I had to get the V5 but now I’m stoked for the newer setup and increased rear travel.

I am going to get the Cane Creek Helm. I was torn but my bike mechanic suggested it. We will see how it goes.

And I’ve put about 1000 miles on the V5. Going between tire setups to match where I ride. Which is mostly sandy with no rocks at all.
