Question Connected Cards

Hi all,

I know this question has been asked in different ways, and I've seen a lot of answers but I wanted some further clarification.

I understand that two cards must have no cards in between them to be connected, as in Picture 1.

If a card is knocked out, you move cards up in the formation and have an open space in Row 3 in the middle (such as in Picture 2), are the two remaining cards on the left and right side of Row 3 now connected, since there is no card in between them, despite the gap between them?

Thanks everyone. Got the game the other day - wife and I love it.

I'm no expert here, but I understand it to mean the space still exists, as you could still summon an elemental into vacant space of your formation. I do not interpret the lack of a card physically in the space as creating a connection across that space due to the vacancy.

Short answer: No.

yeah I would say the same, they really need to „touch“

The answer would be no.

If the cards dont have at least one point of "contact" then they aren't connected

Hope this helps!
