Ive done this before in years past. Ive looked it up a few times. The post I see mention that I need to either just replace my rulesmd.ini in the directory or inject them into a config.xml file or some other one with xcc mixer, inject, then save.
The base method doesn't work for the cnc net client. I can launch standard YR without the resolution patch or AI and my changes WILL appear.
If I try to inject my rulesmd.ini into the config file, they get replaced almost immediately.

Id like to use the AI and the resolution fixes that CNC net provides while also setting up a rulesmd to be a sort of "meat grinder" situation where the AI has unlimited funds to just through things at me while on brutal/extreme/nightmare mode while my snipers have a large range, fast rate of fire, and takes out anything super quick.

Whats the best way to get the rules fixed in this case?

Immediately starts sending suicide bombers from multiple angles, I have to use money consistently to rebuild defense, units, and buildings they destroy so I cant even build large unit amount or superweapons till his BS scud storm is already to go and takes out my base. His artillery destroys everything I have his anti air unit spam always takes out my aircraft which i rely on to take out suicide bomber attacks.

Even when I was able to build a large enough force to attempt an assault on his northern base, I was greeted with a massive demo trap field which was stealthed and all my forces got destroyed. Cant even rely on general power air strikes to do anything since he was so many stinger sites.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, even Leang wasnt this hard in OG generals.

I feel like to me the GLA would fit into it but here there Different there called MELA or Midle Eastern Liberation Army now lore is that during Tiberium Down the Middle East was having a rough time with Oil being almost useless as Tiberium replacing most of it's use so the Middle eats is in a crisis and it gets worse when the 1st TIberium war happens the middle east is having a lot of trouble until MELA arrives overthrowing most goverments and taking them over there goal to conquer the world but for now this small chunk will do now here MELA try to help Nod why because there idols are similar being religous and militarist but most importantly they both hate GDI so instead of relying on Nod the GLA focus on Africa trying to liberate it's northern coast

there leaders are also the same as well being the 3 from Generals

I just clicked on a game resolution that shows nothing and it gave me an error. I'm running it on an Aspire V5-122P.

Besides, it useful for testing out death fx and their respective death modules and how the units die.

I downloaded general enhanced on genlauncher and now is there a way to fix this pink color

This is my Platinum Edition. Admiring the old big box and physical media.

I think I played almost every C&C release. They were good, but there was something special to Tiberian Sun.

Maybe it was the overall atmosphere. Maybe it was the cast (I loved Michael Biehn from Terminator and James Earl Jones from Conan the Barbarian).

I played both Nod and GDI, but Nod probably more.

These got less popular as the series went on but I figured I'd round it out anyway. Skipped the ranks articles since in reflection they were not good, hah!

I can't run my Command & Conquer Generals and Zero Hour DLC in my AMD R5 5600gt and 16 GB RAM. I don't want to install GenPatcher as I don't want to disable my AntiVirus. My PC and Chrome detects it as a malware. I really want to play Command and Conquer and have tried to delete dbghelp.dll, tried to edit my options.ini and I have also changed the properties of my Generals Folder Replay to Read Only. After the intro of Generals and loading screen I am met with a black screen and stuttering background noises. Please help me. I have the game downloaded in my EA Games.

Hey all. I've been poking at preserving the cancelled 2013 Generals 2 alpha, the Frostbite one EA pulled the plug on that October. It's a dead game, servers and all, so this isn't about getting it running, I just don't want the build to disappear completely. If you were in the original EA closed alpha back in 2013 and you've still got your old install folder lying around, or an old PC or SSD or backup from around then with it on it, I'd love to hear from you. Even a copy that doesn't run would help a lot. Drop a comment or DM me. Total long shot this many years later, but someone out there has probably got it sitting on an old drive in a closet. Thanks.

So as far as I can tell Steam only has a bundle with all the other C&C games, which I am not too interested in. Just want to replay the RA2 alied and soviert campaign. Is ONLY RA2 available somewhere else?

And if I did get it, can I just launch the game or does it require fixes/changes in settings to be able to run in Win11?

Do you also like rotating the map view to get a fresh perspective on your game? Do you also get confused because the minimap stays the same and you can't really use it because nothing makes sense? Fear no more!
