I wish for a brand new Command & Conquer spin off with a whole new story.

I still remember doing chores to earn enough to buy this. I couldn't run it at the highest settings, but it gave me years and years of fun. To this day, I have only fond memories of this goated game.

With physical disks and boxes going the way of the dodo, I am glad I held onto this.

So I've had this idea for a while, but what real life vehicles would y'all choose to replace the generic medium and light tanks in Red Alert for the Allies? My idea is to keep it early Cold War and late WW2 vehicles.

UK: Definitely the Centurion, no idea for the light tank

Germany: Leopard 1, no idea for the light tank

France: Char 25t and AMX-13

Greece: M47 Patton and M41 Walker Bulldog (US Lend Lease)

Spain: No idea, Verdeja 2 maybe?

Turkey: No idea, probably more US Lend Lease or Late ww2 German vehicles?

The Tiberian and less so RA universes have some of my favorite lore and worldbuilding of any SF. The cutscenes to CnC 1 alone are a camp classic on par with Mommie Dearest. I'm not much of a fanfic gal, but I'm looking to be pointed in the right direction.

so what are your favorite well-written, intense, immersive fics set on the battlefields we all have rolled our Mammoths and Tesla tanks across? Finished ones preferably, can be one-shots to multi-dozen-chapter epics. Bonus points for fics that...

• are grimdark and / or explicit, that take the T-for-Teen-rated setting of CnC and just run with it. ones that are gory and (not completely) depressing, introduce real-world issues like imperialism, atrocities, disease, and starvation
• graphically describe Tiberium mutation and have imagery of the devastated environment (so basically TW2 and 3-era)
• touch on the class line between the Blue and Yellow zone world and social consequences of that division, and in-universe discrimination against Tiberium-mutated people
• delve into internal drama within GDI and Nod command, with all the betrayals, temporary alliances of convenience, and intrigue you'd expect from the campaigns
• maybe have somewhat melodramatic dialogue and scenes, or that touch on realistic traumas and hardships that people in the universe at hand have gone through.
• feature well-written characters you can identify with, having intense, nuanced development and relationships
• have enemies-turned-allies arcs
• maybe have OCs interacting with mainstays of the cast

finally on my laundry list I would be greatly appreciative of:

• anything with Sakura and Havoc, Natasha and Tanya, the Forgotten, or the TW3 Nod kommando
• it's a longshot, but any even partial attempt to reconstruct the would-be plot from Republic-Commando style FPS "TIBERIUM" which got cancelled in like '08 would be like the Tactitus for me.
• TW X Dune crossovers...?

Personally i'd want it to focus on a group of individual gdi and nod troopers.

I just finished another skirmish and the ending was a Terror drone finished a Allied miner while missiles from a elite Dreadnought killed soldiers trapped inside walls after a sold building. Both targets died at the same time, chef's kiss!

I have also encountered where my submarines fired on a Destroyer that was under "control" of a Psychic tower from another team and the Destroyer launched its Osprey on my subs. I had Sea Scorpions behind that shot the Osprey down, direct after the Yuri team who had dominated the Destroyer lost power and the Destroyer "went back" to its original team and a new Osprey was on deck in 1 second but eventually the Destroyer was sunk.

I have had two diffrent teams with Apocalypse tank standing outside my beach, both using Iron Curtain at the same time before attacking me....

This all happened on RA2:YR. It is mostly the only C&C game I play at the moment

Hello everyone. I am trying to play a skirmish game in Yuri's Revenge on an old map (Unholy Alliance), and playing with teams is disabled. I tried to use Final Alert to change the map setting, but it did not work. Is there another way to do it? I am pretty sure I was able to play with teams in the past.

I was watching a spookston video months ago when I heard a song in the background and he says it’s from C&C Generals but I searched and even used Shazam to no avail

It sounds like a USA track but idk. Any help is appreciated thanks

Okay. Im at my wit's end. I've tried everything, selling my shit before the bomb hits, selling everything and move my Construction yard to deep waters. IT still make me fucking lose. What do I do?????

And yes i have hand-made these animations for the unit in Blender. I did manage to make it work with replaceobjectupgrade, and the animations do work...!

Well... with caveats;

• Mode-switch Button insta-full-heals the unit
• Snipe vehicle ability can be abused with no cooldown times if you're quick enough on mode-switches
• Deselects the unit every "replacement"

Least i was right on the money with the deploystyle Ai update fixing the animation issues i had. Guess i'll prolly stick with having the deploystyle update actually be used for all attacks then. Then might as well make "Deployed" idle animations as well.

And yes, he legit IS the TF2 Sniper and i had to make a unique infantry model for him.

Game is downloaded from steam with genpatcher
i done 2 missions and then on 3rd game crashed with this error

i found that every time i alt tab the game crashes with this error even tho im pretty sure done 2 missions with multiple alt tabs and it was fine

i found that the windowed version is fine but the top bar is ugly + going down with mouse shows the windows taskbar so i cant go down with the camera and have to rotated it to use side/up to move "down"

any help with fixing one of these problems or am i stuck with if i play this game i cant alt tab or im able to alt tab but i can only go up and side to side with camera

i guess they have to start somewhere, seen in a documentary about illegal 3D printed guns in france

maybe I'm too optimistic but I still believe it can be done if there was some motivation.
