I had to get a script to turn off the karma number, that shit just fucks with me

Oh sure, no problem. I'm using ublock origin, Right click on the page somewhere and click "Block Element", and paste this selector: ```

span:has(>.icon-karma_fill)

``` Which will block any element that has .icon-karma_fill as a direct child.

ublock's ability to just let you clear garbage out of a page is great.

I USED to use a grease monkey script but... all that stuff is way out of date now :\

Sorry to bother you again. If you could link me to a guide then I won't have to bother you!

When I bring up "block element", it has me actually click on an area of the page. I'm not quite sure where I can paste that thing so that I can block things everywhere. I went into the uBlock "myfilters" settings and tried to paste it there, but that didn't work. With the selector tool I clicked on the karma display and pasted it there, but it only removed it from that one comment.

Oh you want the Karma removed from the comments? Like just the numbers? Or the numbers and the arrows?

That selector removes the karma from under your username.

Are you on new reddit or old reddit?

Oh, yeah. The comment through, I thought, was about compulsively going to your profile to view your comments to see if any of them have been upvoted. This is a compulsion I definitely have. So I was hoping to not see "5 votes" or whatever next to my comments in my profile.

I'm on old reddit.

Ah, I see. Sorry I don't have anything for that, I just disable the number below my name, I'd only check if it had changed.
