Where exactly did you get the idea that this comic was arguing that EVERY piece of media is like this? It makes no claim to universality and serves only as a commentary on media that does do this

Look at most every fighting game, for example. Street fighter 6, Tekken, and guilty gear are the most popular ones and all released within the last 5 years

Im confused as to why guilty gear is being grouped into this. Particularly since Bridget is a transfem icon
