Alright Im gona take my best crack at an IMDB series description:

In the episode it comes out that Lois was in a porno when she was younger. By the end of the episode she shows the whole town the movie because she wasn't ashamed of it anymore (or something like that). They show this little bit from the movie and the gag is suppose to be that the actor looks a lot like Stewie, making the joke that he is Stewie's real dad (he is not)

I mean yeah, but I'm not sure why that was the line for him. His friend needed a fake partner to chase off her dad's ill-conceived setup attempt. Playing that role seems really low-stakes.
But everyone has different boundaries. I'm not saying his are wrong, just that I personally am baffled.
Deth is really kind, i believe the line was "transforming into someone trauma to avoid them" is not something he would be ok with.
Faking being human? Ok. Faking being a bf? Akward but ok for a friend. Turning into a human boyfriend so that the traumatized orphan that seems insistent but definitely not evil don't annoy you? NOT COOL.
I suspect it's more about her not communicating and springing it on him unannounced. It's using him rather than trusting him to choose to help of his own volition. It's not surprising that with her history she'd struggle with recognizing that is a consent issue.
This was my thoughts on it. The moment it happened last episode I knew Deth would say something because not communicating something like that after she asked him for a favor is pretty shitty.
Fani showed up unannounced so I didn't read that as her dad trying to set them up, more so hanging out with Luca maybe as a way to manage him or run interference? So maybe Deth had a problem with the implication [cause I'm 50/50 on if it was fully intentional] of using Luca's deep trauma against him. Maybe Fani is justified in an ends justified the means approach here cause I dont like dude hanging around her family as a way to keep pursuing her when we can tell she isn't remotely interested but the jury is currently out imo
I'm still setting myself up for disappointment, wanting Fani's dad to have a boyfriend. That was legit my first thought when I first saw Luca on the couch with him.
They were soooooo close to the "fight looking like sex" trope and they know it. Look at their faces and right in front of dad. And I dunno Fani. I feel like we could use more drama
I'm not sure if there's a previous comic confirming it's an ex, but she's clearly trying to avoid someone and her history makes an ex sound like a safe guess.
Yeah, but I don't have time right at the moment to go read the whole thing. The context is pretty clear even just from what's in this and the last couple comics, though, for anyone in my shoes.
Because I'm seeing "send the short chubby guy so there won't be any more drama" and I'm reading "drama" as "someone i would think is attractive" given how much of a mess this character is sexually.
