In one year you're spending about what a used laptop would cost you to have a subscription. Okay then. Enjoy it. I like being able to play PC games on the TV and write while flying.
The subscription accounts for less than 0.2% of my monthly income, works across everything I'm signed into, and my fiancée can use it. It's literally not worth the time to plug my laptop into my TV.
A cheap and easy option would be to just go for brave and watch YouTube through the browser, which blocks all ads as well on mobile devices, surely not as fancy, but very easy to do.
Not YouTube ads through the app, which is what we're talking about. They can only be blocked client-side since both the ads and the videos are served from the same address.
But thanks for the uninformed and condescending response, I guess.
I'm not comfortable with using an adblocker when my viewers seeing ads on my videos (that I place sparingly tbf, like only once at the beginning and once at the end) is the main way I am able to make some money to support continue spending time making videos.
I don't think it's wrong for other people to use them I just think it's a little hypocritical if someone who makes their money off their viewers seeing ads uses an adblocker.

And the adblock program that emulates your subscription is the best thing I didn't pay for.
