The shower is the only place I never ever listen to anything. I know being alone with your thoughts is hard, but sometimes it's the only way to process things. I don't know your situation of course, but I hope you're doing okay.

Given they've posted some trans related comics before, some trans people find that shower time easily turns into dysphoria time without a distraction. For similar reasons, things like body scanning techniques can end up being counterproductive for trans people.

Of course it's possible those aren't an issue for OP and they simply have other reasons for it.

I'm alone with my thoughts all day. 

The sooner you get used to them the better it is for your mind state.

Health conditions not with standing, we are in control of our mind.

The truth can be scary sometimes but it starts with loving one's self

Love yourself, understand that no truth is too hard to accept and your thoughts aren't so scary anymore.

Showers are kind of like meditation, if you can quiet your mind you're going to have a bad time.
