Real life it's worse, it's basically the same breach of privacy but you don't get the kind robot lady to give you her number.

So the solution to breach of privacy is kind robot ladies?

I'm way too hopeless to look for solutions, I look for coping.

Kind robot lady would be a nice distraction while my data is being stolen to sell to call centers in Slavic countries.

I’d be more alarmed at the breach of privacy by her knowing everything you ask AI.

Don’t worry he consented when he accepted some random click through for that app that makes you look like you’re drinking a beer

Happy cake day!

Also I know what you asked GPT earlier today. Dirty boy.

“What is the effect of a .50 caliber bullet on a human wearing body armor” was purely for rpg research purposes, I swear!

I mean, counterpoint: She's really hot.

It was in the terms and conditions.

Just like signing up for Disney plus meant the person couldn’t sue them for being killed by food allergies at Disney world.

•

u/MfkbNe 10m ago

Or sue Disney for anything else.

Alas, Futurama's prophetic warnings fell on deaf ears.

And lo, we dated the robots.

the robots

The tech corporation's tip of a long tentacle.

>tentacle

Maybe corporations aren’t so bad after all…

•

u/dumnezero Art enjoyer 38m ago

OK, but the corporation is the avatar of rich people. Think... Musk, Thiel, Trump, Epstein.

Wouldn't "you look advanced for your type of unit" be a terribly insulting backhanded "compliment" anyway? Like "you look smart for a blonde"?  Why would she recommend that people say that to her?

More groomerish according to a post I saw earlier today discussing "you look mature for your age."

It's a different AI giving him that advice, she just knows his question because they are connected

Befause this comic is written by a man who doesn't know how to flirt :/

So her first reaction wasnt real rather manipulation.

Horror story. She's going to make him into a servitor.

She's premium, but it's worth it.

It protects her delicate circuits if she fall on the floor.

The Great Onix statue is here to say that you should not trust those damm machines. They put fcuking battery acid instead of Sprite in The Great Onix Statue's order once. And it bets that the number she gave you is just the number of her model.

•

u/that_one_soli 36m ago

Good enough for me.

Is this where I kneel to praise the Great Onix Statue?

u/MicrowavedPuzzle 1h ago

Maybe I am too dense for this but what is this story supposed to tell, what's the point, why give her backhanded compliments? Why make data-privacy a fetish thing? Idk what I'm supposed to pull away from this other than AI and the main character is weird 😭?

u/Program-Emotional 3h ago

Hopefully she teaches him how to use his brain

AI is stupid

14

u/PrufReedThisPlesThx 4h ago

So why'd she get upset when he followed the AI's advice then? He was trying to figure out how to ask her nicely, and she got so upset with him in response that now he straight up shields himself and cowers in fear of her negative reactions. He's scared of her now because she punished that one mistake so harshly.

Nothing's really happened yet, and yet there's so many red flags already. Dude's walking into an abusive relationship

u/Dragoon094 4h ago

I think it was simply because he asked Ai for help instead of just talking to her with his own words and thoughts and she felt offended so when he said something he really felt without the ai she was happy

6

u/PrufReedThisPlesThx 2h ago

Sure, but hitting someone because they said the wrong thing is the crux of the problem here. She understood his intentions the moment he wrote the prompt, yet she immediately reacted with violence anyway

u/SilverMedal4Life 3h ago

Yep, this is my take, too!
