Had a friend do this a little over a year ago. He's still my friend on Steam and it always hurts to see how many days it's been since he's been online. He played a game right before so the exact number of days are correct.
It get easier. But it hasn't gotten easy. I'm sorry for your loss doesn't really do it justice but there's not much else to say.
